Today the Valdis siblings were staying home. Hell, Kage was staying home. Esme Hayden had made plans with their loved ones.
Esme stood in her room, in her underwear, staring at her reflection in the large mirror on her wall. She hummed in thought before yelling out for her little brother. "What?" Kage drawled. Realizing his sister was practically naked, he quickly shut and locked the door so their older brother wouldn't accidentally walk in. "I need a second opinion." Esme huffed. Not taking her eyes off her reflection. "I'm going over to Laxus' house today and I plan to seduce him. But I don't know if should wear the sexy underwear I bought."
"Don't wear it." Kage immediately answered making Esme turn and give him a confused look. "You shouldn't need sexy clothing to win him over. Your body should be enough to that for you. Laxus loves YOU after all." He added, stuffing his hands in his pockets. Esme's eyes widened before tearing up as she leaped forward and hugged the small boy. "THANK YOU! YOU'RE SUCH A SWEET HEART!" She cried dramatically. "And you should really learn to lock your door so Hayden doesn't walk in and see you practically naked." He scolded her making her pout.
After Esme got dressed and left to head to Laxus' place. Hayden walked into Kage's room to find the younger brother sat at his open window, a bunch of birds had perched themselves both on his window seal and on him. A bird that was sat on his shoulder chirped making the boy turn his head and mutter something to it. Then another bird chirped and made him laugh. "My brother really needs to make some friends." Hayden thought as he sweat dropped. "Hey Kage, I'm going out on a date with Mira. You gonna be ok on your own?" Hayden asked quietly as to not scare off the birds. Kage scoffed. "Of course I will be. I'm not a child."
"So you say." Hayden muttered before leaving.
Kage sat there for awhile before turning to his bird friends. "Should we go for a fly?" He asked. The birds all a agreed and took off. Kage turned into his raven form and followed. After a while of flying around, Kage suddenly turned back into a human in mid-air and fell into a tree. Hitting every branch on the way down until he finally hit the ground. A cough racked his body and scratched his throat to shit while his bird friends chirped frantically around him. "I'm fine I just...I'm still a little sick. My magic still seems a bit weak. I cant keep up the transformation." He told them. "Can some of you go get someone from the Guild? It's close by." The more grown up birds immediately took off to get help while the smaller birds stayed to keep him company.
After what felt like an hour of waiting he heard a girl yelling behind him. The birds that left to get help came back carrying a sheet of paper. Behind them, a familiar blonde girl chased after them. She then stopped and gasped when she saw the boy laying motionless on the ground. Broken branches and leaves all around him. His clothes slightly torn and his skin was scratched up. "Kage! What happened to you?!"
"Fell from the sky into this tree and hit every branch on the way down."
"You're still sick! We told you to stay home until it went away completely!" Lucy yelled as she knelt next to boy and help him sit up. She slowed her movements when she heard the boy groan in pain. "Anything broken?" She asked. "Nah. Just very bruised and sore." He answered.
Lucy had Kage's arm draped around her shoulder while she had one arm wrapped securely around his waist. Slowly, they made their way to her apartment. Once they got there, she helped Kage to her bathroom and sat him on the ground against the wall of the tup. "We need to clean you up so your wounds don't get infected." She said. Kage just nodded and allowed her to help him strip.
After cleaning as much as she could without irritating his wounds, she let Kage rest in the her tub, soaking up the warmth of the water. "Just call me when you're ready and I'll help out and into some clothes." Lucy said before closing the door to the bathroom to let the boy relax in peace.
She walked back to her bedroom to see Natsu and Happy hanging out. "Hey Luce!"
"WHAT ARE DOING HERE?!" She yelled, kicking him in the face.
"Jeez, calm down will ya! We just came to visit!" Natsu exclaim. He suddenly went quiet as he sniffed the air. "Hey Lucy, do you have somebody over?" He asked.
"Yah. I just got back from helping Kage take a bath. Why?"
"You were helping him bathe? Why? Is he not able to bathe himself?" Happy asked with a snicker. "It's not that." Lucy said with a glare. "It's just that he got hurt and it hurts his body to move so I helped him. I was just about to set up the futon so he could stay the night."
"Then we'll stay too!" Natsu suddenly yelled.
"What?! Why?!"
"Because he's a total sadist and a pervert! There's no way I'm gonna leave him alone with you!"
"That's sweet of you Natsu but you don't need to worry. Kage is actually a really nice person. Besides, he was WAY to casual when he bathed with us girls at that Hot Springs so I honestly doubt he's as bad as you think he is."
"He bathed with you girls? THAT'S where he dissappeared to?!"
Lucy waved him off with a sigh. "Esme said it was fine so we let him. We wasn't a pervert at all honestly. He seemed rather bored actually." She said as she looked back at the memory. She heard the boy call her from the bathroom and she immediately ran over and locked the door so Natsu would follow.
She help the small boy out of the tub and led him over to grab the bathroom counter for support. Lucy couldn't help but really look at him while she dryer him off. "I never really looked at you at the Hot Springs, but you really do have a feminine figure." She stated. Kage rolled his eyes. "I seem to be getting told that a lot lately." She helped him put on some her spare night clothes that were serprisingly a little big on him. They both walked out of the bathroom and into the bedroom where Natsu and Happy still were. "Wow! You really ARE small! Those clothes are big on you!" Happy exclaimed. Natsu snickered evily. "Or maybe Lucy is just big."
"I'M NOT BIG!" Lucy yelled. "Now get out! Me and Kage are gonna have a slumber party!" She said as she pushed Natsu out the door and locked it. She then moved over to window, closed it, locked it, and closed the curtains. "Now then! That bath seemed to have soothed your muscles enough to allow you move around. So I wanted to ask, will you let me dress you up?"
"You want to do girl things with me don't you." Kage stated. Lucy nodded in excited and he sighed. "Fine. Go wild. Esme does it all the time so I'm use to it." Lucy squealed and started rummaging through her wardrobe before pausing and turning to look at him. "I was wondering, you seem to be pretty care free. Would you be willing to spend a whole day dressed as a girl?"
Kage actually thought about it before shrugging. "Sure I don't mind." Lucy's face suddenly lit up with an idea.
