Kage took on a mission to find some criminal's daughter. It was easy enough. According to the wife, he wasn't legally aloud to be near her so he did the next best thing. He kidnapped her.
But the Guild forgot something. Kage is a Valdis and the Valdis siblings have a habit for getting kidnapped. So now, Master Makarov, Hayden and Team Natsu had to look for Kage on top of looking for the girl.
But they were about to make a gruesome discovery.
"Are you sure this is him?"
"Are you retarted? Take a good look at his face."
Footsteps approached him, and his face was roughly grabbed and forced to look up at the blinding light. "There no doubt about it. This is that pretty boy from Fairy Tail."
The man roughly let his face go, snorting as he laughed at the pitiful boy. "He joined this supposedly strong wizards guild, but look at him- he looks like a kicked puppy. He's all bark and no bite."
Kage kept his head bowed, he was staring at his lap, silently listening to their conversation. He tugged at the chains that kept him bounded, hearing them rattle as he shifted silently.
"H-Hey....why isn't he talking?" One of the men asked.
"He's obviously learned his place, filthy bastards like him should be begging for mercy." The proud one scoffed. "The pretty boy learned the hard way about survival. The brat is nothing but talk."
The proud one walked over and grabbed a fist full of Kage's blonde hair, yanking it up, forcing him to look at his face. "You think you're worth something? You're worth nothing down here, boy. Your Guild can't save you now."
Kage spat in his face, and the man shoved him off. "This piece of shit!"
"Hey, don't rough him up anymore. We knock him out one more time, he might never wake up again."
"Boss wants us to cut off his fingers, you think what I'm doing is worse than that? I'm just trying to rough him up. You think I care if he doesn't wake up in the end? He'll die anyway-!"
"Do it." Kage finally spoke. His voice horrifyingly calm. "Hit me. That's all you can do right? Let me guess, did daddy beat you up when you were little? Uncle?"
"What?"
"Step dad?" When the man frowned deeper, Kage smirled. "Oh, so step dad. Was he was he mean to you? Did he lock you up like you're doing to me? Did mommy not care?"
"Shut up you piece of shit!" Just as the man swung a fist at him, Kage ducked down, and pulled his restraints free. The chains slipped through the chair and Kage got up and moved behind him. He hooked the chain around the man's neck and pulled back, choking him from behind.
"What the hell?! You bastard!" The other man ran forward. Kage moved the chains to one hand, as he used his free hand to sock the other one in the jaw.
Kage watched as the man fell back and crashed into the small wooden table behind him, knocking him over.
Kage then kicked the back of the knees of the one he was strangling. The man fell to his knees, clawing at his neck and Kage leaned in to whisper in his ear. "Now...say my name." The man's mouth began to foam as his eyes started to roll to the back of his head. "Go on. Don't be shy. Say my name."
"K-Kage...V-Valdis." The man chocked out desperately as tears began to form in his eyes.
"Good." Kage grinned sadistically. "Remember that name, because I'm going to be the last person you'll ever see in your short pathetic life."
