Hayden sat up in the white infirmary bed, startling Wendy as she came in. "Oh! Your up!" He said happily. Hayden stood up from the bed and immediately started stretching, testing his beaten body for limitations. When he didn't find any, he made his way to the door and opened it.
Hayden walked out of the infirmary to see Kage leaning on the wall in front of him. Hayden nodded to him and turned to walk through the Guild towards the exit. A smirk appeared on Kage's face before turning to follow.
Mira watched the two walk pass with a worried look but didn't make a move to stop them. The Guild shivered as Hayden's eyes turned red and dragon-like. They've never seen Hayden pissed before and with Kage at his with a wicked smile on his face, they realized they NEVER wanted him pissed.
Esme met up with them once they got outside and the Valdis siblings started to head out of Magnolia.
The hunt was on.
"How many are left?" Hayden asked as they wondered through the forest where he was attacked. "Bubba killed on of them. That leaves three more." Esme informed. Hayden snapped his fingers and Kage immediately took off in a different direction while him and Esme continued in there current direction.
After a couple minutes of walking they spotted a camp, they were quick to recognize the Mercenaries that had attacked Hayden. They stepped out into the open and the guys immediately got into a fighting stance. "Hey, I know you!" One announced. "Did you think I was gonna let you get away with what you did?" Hayden asked calmly. When the mercenaries made a move like we're going to attack, electricity shot up from the ground making them fall the ground. "Do you know what happens when you piss off a dragon?" Esme asked and the men stared at her. "No? Then let's find out, shall we?" She them put her fingers up to her mouth and let out a loud whistle.
The men froze as a roar echoed through the forest. They can hear the beating of strong wings heading their direction. A shadow casted or them as a large black dragon appeard and blocked out the sun. Kage landed behind Hayden and lowered his head to their level. Hayden put a hand on Kage's nose while still staring at the mercenaries. Kage let out a low growl which made them all get up and run as fast as they could in the opposite direction. "May he have mercy on you." Hayden muttered before dropping his hand. As soon as Hayden's hand left his nose, Kage open his mouth and black flames erupted from throat. Quickly engulfing the mercenaries and burning them alive.
"You always have to put on a show, don't chya." Esme muttered making Hayden chuckle while Kage turned back.
On their way back to the Guild Hayden sent a look to Kage who nodded and reached into his jacket pocket to grab something but didn't take it out. Esme looked at her brothers curiously but didn't say anything. The each of the sibling's lovers and some friends stood outside of the Guild waiting for them. Smiles appearing on all of their faces when they saw the Valdis siblings walking towards them. Mira broke into a sprint and ran towards Hayden who hugged her and spun her around. Esme's face lit up and booked it over to Laxus who panicked before getting tackled by her. Gajeel walked up to Kage with Lily flying next to him. Lily flew into Kage's arms making Kage stagger a bit before freezing when he felt Gajeel kiss his forehead. His face lit up in a blush, the ground was suddenly much more interesting making Gajeel chuckle.
"Mira.." Hayden started. Mira pulled away from their hug to look at him. "Yesterday I was on my death bed, and I realized that I need to say this before anything else happens." He stated. Everyone started at him besides Kage who smirked. Hayden held a hand out towards his brother who gave him the object that was in his pocket. All the girls suddenly stopped breathing as Hayden dropped to one knee and open the little black box, revealing a beautiful diamond ring. "Mirajane Strauss...will you marry me?"
Esme started shaking but stayed silent, waiting for the answered. "Yes." Mira whispered with tear rolling down her cheeks. "Yes! I will!" She said louder. She then jumped on Hayden and they both fell to the ground. She kissed every inch of his face making him laugh.
Esme suddenly squealed so loudly that Laxus had to cover his ears. "IS THIS WHY YOU BOYS WERE GIVING EACHOTHER WEIRD LOOKS?! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!"
"IF we told you then you would go blabbing about it to everyone!" Hayden said as he sat up with Mira still clinging to him. Esme gasped in a offended manner. "I wouldn't blab! I can keep a secret!" Everyone laughed at that. "I can! Stop laughing!"
Kage looked at Laxus as he glanced at Hayden and Mira before turning to stare at Esme making a smirk grow on Kage's face.
But unknown to him, Gajeel and Lily glanced at eachother before staring at Kage with the same look.
