Esme walked happily into the guild as the chatter of the Guild mates quickly filled her ears. She skipped her way over to the bar where Hayden was sat talking with Mira but froze half way there.
Feeling eyes on her, she turned and met the blue gray eyes of her baby brother who was sat at his usual table in the back corner. "Of course he would find out." Esme muttered as she made her way towards Kage instead.
"Look Bubba, can you keep this a secret? I'm wanna make an announcement once everyone gets here." She said as soon as she reached him. Kage kept silent but nodded in understanding while Gajeel and Lily looked between them confused. Esme stared at them in thought before sighing. "You can tell them though. ONLY THEM." She said sternly and walked away.
Gajeel and Lily looked at Kage.
"She's pregnant." Kage stated and their eyes widened. "But she didnt even say anything!" Gajeel said.
"I noticed as soon as she walked into the Guild."
"How?" Lily asked.
"She has a little bump. Couldn't you tell?"
They both turned to stare at Esme before looking back to Kage. "No!"
Esme took a head count and smiled when she saw that everyone was there. She then ran over to Kage's table who had stood up as if he already knew her plan. With his help, she stood up on top of the table and yelled out to the crowd.
"Can I have everyone's attention please?!"
The Guild fell silent and everyone looked up at her. Esme then turned to where Laxus was stood and gave him a serious look. "Laxus! I have something to tell you and I want everyone to hear!"
Laxus seemed to shift nervously when he heard those words.
"I'm pregnant!"
He froze.
The entire guild erupted with cheers and clapping that made Esme beem with happiness while Laxus stood there still trying to process what she had said.
"But you're not even married yet!" Hayden shouted but Esme just waved him off. "Yah yah. We'll get there."
Esme and her girl friends sat at a table (which Kage was also forced to sit at) while the guys gathered around Laxus.
"I can't believe it! This is so exciting!" Lucy squealed. "It's so exciting to think that our kids will grow up together." Mira said with a big smile.
"You to Mira?" Levy asked in shock but Mira shook her head. "Not yet, but me and Hayden are talking about it."
"Come to think of it-" Esme said in thought and they all turned to Kage. "Bubba, have you and Gajeel done it yet?"
Kage leaned on his hand, seemingly bored of all their girl talk. "No."
"I thought so. You two don't smell like you're mates." Wendy stated. Lucy laughed. "Mates? You sound like they're animals."
"But they are!" Esme told them. "Lily is a cat, Gajeel is practically a dragon and Kage can turn into and talk to different animals!"
Levy shivered a bit. "If you think about it, the sex must be violent."
At the other end of the Guild, the guys have already turned their attention to Gajeel. "What do you mean you can't turn him on?" Gray asked.
"Trust me, I've tried. But this kid is stone cold. Nothing fazes him." Gajeel said and Lily nodded in agreement.
"Bite him."
They all turned to Hayden. "Bite him?" Laxus question and Hayden rolled his eyes. "Trust me. I've done it on accident once. All you have to do is bite him and you'll have him writhing."
Gajeel and Lily glanced at eachother as they thought about it.
Just then a moan echoed through the Guild quickly catching everyone's attention. They all turned to the girl's table who were all blushing except for Esme who was laughing while Kage glared at her, a hand covering the side of his neck. "You bit me!" Kage yelled at her making her laugh harder. "I was only proving a point Bubba!"
Hayden looked around the Guild and sighed. By the looks on everyone's faces, he knew that nobody is going to forget that beautiful noise that Kage had unknowingly made.
