Mira leaned against the bar counter as she stared out the windows across the Guild Hall. Snow was gently falling outside, covering the ground in a white sheet. "Wouldn't a winter wedding be beautiful?" She asked, catching Esme's attention.

Esme put down her hot cocoa. "Yah! I've never seen anyone get married in the snow!" She said happily. "I hate the cold. I don't know how you think getting married in it is a good idea." Kage muttered in distaste.

"Ah. Your hatred for cold weather is probably because you get sick easily." Esme giggled. Kage huffed and gulped down some hot chocolate. "Maybe we can have your wedding under that big tree! Kage can get the decerations done and I know someone who can get you two married!"

"I'm out." Kage said and got up to leave but Esme grabbed the collar of his jacket and pulled him back into his seat. "Your not going anywhere! You're going to help us out whether you like it or not!" Esme told him as he pouted.

Kage, Esme and Mira stood outside under the big tree. A box of decorations sat on the ground next to them. "Alright Kage! Call your friends!"

Kage let out a loud whistle and a flock of birds flew towards them. "We need help decorating." Kage muttered to the birds that hovered in front of him. They all nodded and started pulling decorations from the box. "I thought birds flew south for the winter." She said as she watched them fly around. Kage shook his head. "Most do. But these are winter birds." He then held out his hand and a little red bird landed on him. "This is a Northern Cardinal. It's often used in Christmas decorations. Blue Jays can also sometimes be found during winter."

"What's her name?" Esme asked.

"HIS name is Berry." Kage told them. Esme went to apologize for thinking he was a girl but the bird took off before she could. "Don't take it personally. He's often mistaken for a girl so he gets grumpy about it."

"Wow! You talk like they are people! With personalities and everything!" Mira said in excitment. "Animals have just as much personality as people do. You just can't understand them to be able to tell."

The birds left the tree and the three of them looked at it. "It's great! Now we just need to set up a wedding arch, some chairs, some tables for food and drinks, oh I'm so excited! I'm gonna go get things ready!" Esme yelled as she ran off. "I'll handle the invitations!" Mira said happily as she followed after her. Kage stood there for a moment before a bird landed on his shoulder and chirped at him. "Why the hell would I want to cook?"

The bird chirped again and he rolled his eyes. "Cooking for people is different compared to what I make for the animals." He argued. All the birds started chirping at him at the same time until he snapped. "Fine! I'll cook! Just shut up!" The birds all happily followed Kage as he stomped back home.

Everyone had gathered under and around the large tree where Hayden stood in waiting with a young woman who stood as the clergy person.

As the music started to play, Mira walked down the Isle of chairs towards where Hayden stood.

They stood facing eachother as the young woman giggled with excitment. "Do you take-"

"Yes." Hayden cut her off.

"Do-"

"Yes." Mira said quickly.

"You may kiss the-" She started to say but Hayden had already dipped Mira and kissed her.

"Jeez, you lovebirds." The woman said making everyone laugh. The two newly weds went over to the cake and cut it together while some people watched and others moved towards the food tables.

Lucy looked around and saw Natsu stood stiffly off to the side. Confused, she made her way over to him. "Natsu? Are you alright?"

"U-um..well, he said he was cold. S-So he told me to stand still and then- and now he's-" Natsu stuttered out and then shivered when something moved around his neck under his scarf. A small scaly head then popped out of his scarf and Lucy almost screamed.

A small grey snake with bright blue eyes was wrapped around Natsu's neck, under his scarf and stealing his firey body heat. "Kage?" Lucy asked making the snake role it's eyes. "Who else would it be?" Kage muttered. He looked around and saw everyone talking and eating so looked up and Natsu who was blushing furiously. "Oi! Pinky! The ceremony is over so you can take me home now!"

Natsu nodded wordlessly and started walking away. Lucy giggled as she watch them leave.
