It wasn't like they planned this. They knew what they were getting into when they joined Fairy Tail since the Guild seemed to make a lot of enemies. But this time, these people could care less what Guild the youngest Valdis siblings were in. Because they were after something that, to them, was unrelated to Fairy Tail.

Silver Horn. It wasn't exactly a Guild, but more like a group of people who seeked power. They didn't care who it belonged to. They didn't even care if it killed the wizard they take it from. All they think about is the power that they will aquire.

So it was no surprise that they soon came to find out about the Valdis siblings.

Esme groaned as she slowly opened her eyes. Her vision slowly adjusting to the slightly dark dungeon cell she was in. She was sat on the floor and leaning against the wall. Her ankles chained the floor. A metal door across the small room directly in front of her which she assumed was locked.

Looking to her right, she saw Kage in the same state. But lucky them Kage wore his normal jacket which hid his petite figure. Esme didn't want the men here to get any ideas. His eyes were closed and he seemed to be bleeding from a wound on his forehead. But overall he looked alright. Esme reached a hand up to shake her brother awake but a clinking sound stopped her. Her wrists where bound together by large, metal, uncomfortable cuffs that had glowing blue runes carved around them.

Kage shifted next to her and her opened his eyes. "Bubba!" She said in a hushed tone. Kage 'tsked' when he looked around the cell. "This place is filthy." He scoffed. Esme glared at him. "We're bound in chains and locked in an underground cell and your worrying about the dirt?!"

"Hey, I have priorities."

"Whatever. Just transform your hand into a claw and pick these locks."

"No can do."

"Why not?!"

Kage lifted his wrists up to look at the glowing runes on the cuffs. "Blue Rune. A binding spell. It keeps us from using our magic as long as it's on us." He stated. Esme scoffed at her brother. "Of course YOU of all people would know about a binding spell." She said making Kage smirk at her.

Just then and key was heard in the metal door in front of them. The door soon opened and in stepped a tall, buff, old man. Kage immediately scanned him front head to toe. Gather as much information as he could. The man smirked down at the Valdis sibling and let out a deep sinister chuckle. "You two must be wondering why you're here."

"No not really." The two said at the same time making the man glare at them. "Bubba's got all the info I need." Esme stated.

"Normally, others would attack us when they run into us. But you chose to kidnap us. That means that you either want us for Blackmail or you want something from us. Since neither of us have anything that you could possibly have use for. Then I'm gonna go with the idea that you want our Magic." Kage stated. The man seemed surprised but quickly recovered and let out a evil laugh to try and intimidate them. "Yes that's true. You're smarter than you look. We are the Silver Horn! We search and take powerful magic so we people will finally see how great we really are!"

"Sounds like a selfish child's dream." Esme muttered.

"I'd watch your tongue missy. Or you're magic will be the first I take. A lot of people tend to die when the process is finished." The man tried to threaten.

"You would do that." Kage teased. The man turned to him. "You could have taken our magic when we were unconscious. But you didnt. You locked us up instead. Which means that your using us as bait to lure someone else here and I'm gonna guess that someone else is our older brother."

"You're smart mouth is starting to annoy me boy." The man spat. "Does your daughter know what your doing?" Kage asked, completely ignoring what the he said.

The man suddenly looked startled. Esme could lie that she didn't know whether she should laugh at him or question her brother.

A smirk grew across Kage's face. 'Bingo'. He thought.

"H-How.."

"That's a good question. How indeed." Kage teased. "By looking at how you hold yourself, you have a very commanding presence. But you also seem protective. So it's a single child. A daughter."

Esme giggled at man's expression.

"You also have the name Alyssa tattooed on your collarbone. People normally get the names of their lover as a tattoo. So it's either a new girlfriend or a late wife."

The man flinched slightly. Normal eyes wouldn't have seen. But Kage's overly observant eyes caught it easily.

"By THAT reaction, I'm gonna say it's a late wife."

"You're cruel dear brother." Esme stated as she shook her head. Kage only chuckled.

"That's it. You're going first! See how well you can talk when your magic is being RIPPED OUT OF YA!" He unlocked Kage's chains as fast as he could in a fit of rage. Kage smirked as he did so. As soon as Kage was free, his body flashed a bright white light before disappearing. The man stared in shock.

"Where did he go?!" The man demanded but Esme just shrugged his shoulders. He stomped out of the room, and locked the door behind him.

"Is he gone?" A tiny voice asked. Esme nodded and an Orchid Mantis crawled across the floor. "It's about time." It said. There was another flash of light and Kage shifted back into his human form. "The Orchid Mantis is new." Esme said as Kage started to pick the locks to her shackles. "There was one outside my window and I thought an insect form would come in handy." He said.

Once she was free, Esme stood up along with Kage. "Bubba." She started. "He said that he was using us to lure Hayden here. Right?"

Kage nodded.

"So then he plans to hurt our beloved brother?" She asked. Her face had gone dark.

"It would seem so, dear sister." Kage said. His face mimicking Esme's.

With a blast of lighting, the metal door was blown off its hinges and the two calmly stepped out of the cell. "Go do what you do best Bubba." Esme ordered, making a wicked smile spread across Kage's face.

Hayden, Laxus and Gajeel stepped through the front doors of the old building. They were prepared for a fight but the place seemed deserted. "Esme!" Laxus yelled out when they saw her run up to them. "Hey guys! I know you came to save us and all but we got it under control!" She told them. Gajeel looked around. "Where's Kage?"

"He's..uh...busy."

A pained scream echoed through the dark building and everyone but Esme seemed startled. Hayden was about to run off to go find where it came from but Esme had grabbed his arm to stop him. "Hayden." She said in a stern tone. Hayden turned to look at her. "He's busy." She said again.

Hayden eyes widened and he visibly shiver. "Oh."
