Gaelon's POV
My dreams were filled with the pleasant smells of magic and Tinnu, who had fallen asleep here in my bed. She smelled like rust, soot, and embers, with a slight hint of jasmine.
I have to admit that even though she may only be a pegasus, she is the first female to desire doing magic with me. If I look past the fact that she can not mind read or shape shift, I do rather enjoy her friendship. She is also rather talented with sex, and of course sex is something I enjoy almost as much as magic.
Shape shifting forms almost comes natural to me after all this time, so why shouldn't I enjoy the pleasures that this species has to offer? Sex included, and most of all.
Tinnu has been good to me since Cand's betrayal. She has made me see the freedom in my current situation. I am free from the scrutiny and hatred of my people, yet I am still secretly still in power by using fear.
Everyone is afraid of my magic, everyone except for Tinnu. Maybe fate has brought me to her for a reason. No matter how I may occasionally feel, I know I am not capable of love. But, I think I may have found the closest thing within my ability.
I will die before ever admitting that to her, or anyone.
In the back of my mind I felt a twitch, my body warning me of danger. I heard a small voice whispering, but brushed it off as part of my strange dreams.
A few moments later, Tinnu beside me began to stir. She groaned at her body as it ached in protest. Her legs were still tangled up in mine, one of her wings stretching out beneath me.
She shuddered and twisted herself so she could nibble at my neck, trying to rouse me.
As I slowly woke to her hot breathe and teeth all over my neck, I felt aroused all right, sexually. My sexual hunger for females has always been overwhelming but never very passionate, not until I met this strangely beautiful pegasus.
I groaned as my groins grew stiff in anticipation. I finally opened my eyes and tilted my head to look at her. I gave her a devilish grin as she gave me a challenging stare.
She had told me once that she believed that men could not perform well in the morning when they first wake. I meant to prove her wrong, and believe I did by the way she was panting heavily as I mounted her.
Her pleasure at my performance was duly noted when she began to tickle me with her wing feathers.
When the climax was over, the two of us were both left gasping for air and wondering what had woken us at this forsaken hour of the morning. I began to get my bearings of my surroundings as I stood up on my four sturdy legs and snorted.
Tinnu too was adjusting and gathering herself. She was sniffing around looking for something. Suddenly her eyes seemed a bit more panicked when she did not find it.
"Where is the book? Did you move it in the night?" She asked me suddenly.
My eyes went wide in shock. My last and only magic book was gone?
"Do you mean to say that my book of power is missing?" I asked sternly.
Tinnu snorted and began to look around the room more frantically. "I am sure it is here. We left it right beside the bed." She reassured me, but I could sense the worry in her tone.
I snarled in anger and started looking myself. How could we have been so careless with something so important? I know how. We were caught up in the magic of the moment.
"Would your guards take it?" Tinnu asked a moment later when the room turned up empty.
"They know they are dead if they even touch it." I said truthfully. I did not think they would have the guts to steal from me. Besides, I had sent all the guards away when Tinnu joined me. They would not return unless I called for them.
"Wait... What is this?" Tinnu asked questioningly. She was sniffing around near my bedside table.
I joined her and began to sniff around the area too. I could smell the faint tinge of magic lingering near the candle. Someone else with magical ability had been here last night.
I only knew one creature who was brave and stupid enough to use magic and steal from me while I sleep.
"Ruinar..."
I snarled in anger and frustration. Then my body could not hold it's false form any longer. I felt my body growing larger as I returned to my true dragon form.
I turned my neck to give Tinnu a silent command to find him. Then I let a furious roar escape me and it filled the morning silence with it's power.
When I find him he is dead!
(AN: Surprise!!! Bonus chapter for you guys. Hope you found Gaelon somewhat interesting as he threatens Ruinar's life. Let me know your thoughts about him.)
