"I'm telling you it was hilarious, you should've seen the look on his face when his back hit the ground," you laughed loudly at the image of Tom falling while trying to perfect one of his flips on set. "Anyway, were you able to book your flight?" You frowned, shaking your head.

"Not for Friday, but I could be there, maybe, Monday?"

"But, Monday isn't our day!" I mimicked my girlfriend's pout, knowing how badly we both wanted to be with each other for our anniversary in two days.

"I know, I know, but it's the best I could do, babe." She sighed nodding. She shook her head, plastering a smile on her face.

"I know, you tried." She shrugged, looking behind her. "I have to go, uh – they're calling me in for the homecoming scene." She stood up and showed her outfit for the scene. "How do I look?" You smiled, nodding your head in approval.

"Just as great as the house party outfit." You winked, laughing when she flipped you off. "I'll talk to you later?" She smiled, nodding. You blew her a kiss, smiling widely when she pretended to catch it and stick it in her pocket. "You're gross."

"You love it. Bye!" You ended the call, going back to your room to finish packing. You had gotten a flight to go see her in Atlanta while she was filming, and it was leaving tomorrow afternoon. You wanted to surprise her that night; you would be waiting for her in her hotel room with a bath drawn and roses on the bed. You had never been given the opportunity to be cliché with any of your past partners, so you decided to pull out every cliché anniversary stop for Zendaya.

"Did she believe you?" You nodded at your roommate, smiling widely as you finished putting your bathroom essentials into your suitcase.

"She doesn't suspect anything." You laughed happily plopping onto your bed.

"When do you leave?" You reached for your phone, checking your confirmation email.

"My flight leaves at five thirty in the afternoon tomorrow, so, I wanna leave here at three-thirty, get something to eat and all that. Your friend nodded, sitting up.

"Well, good luck, and have a safe flight – I'll be at work already, so I just wanted to tell you to have a safe flight." Your roommate started walking back to their room, "Have fun – a lot of fun, if you know what I mean." You shook your head, throwing a pillow at the already closing door.

-

You sighed as you finally reached Zendaya's hotel room, thanking Harrison and Darnell for helping you carry your suitcases up and for getting you the key and helping you book the flight. It was close to nine and Zendaya would be back in three hours, so you had three hours to get ready. You had two separate suitcases – one with your essentials, and the other with the cliché gifts you had gotten for tonight.

You placed rose petals on the ground leading up to the bed, then placed them on the mattress. You saved some to place in the bathtub, which you'd draw when the time grew closer so the water would still be warm. You went back, pulling a teddy bear with a heart that read "I love you" out of the suitcase, you placed it on top of the pillows. You sighed, changing out of your jeans and stained shirt, pulling on your silk pajama set. You smiled, taking in your work and sitting on one of the seats.

"Eleven forty-three." You whispered to yourself, checking your watch. You got up and headed to the bathroom, starting the tub and placing a colorless, flower scented bath-bomb, emptying out the bag of rose petals. You stopped the water once it was a little more than half-way filled. You went back to take a seat in the room, pulling your legs up to lay down for a minute, resting your eyes.

-

"(Y/N)? Babe, wake up," you groaned, rubbing your eyes.

"Huh?" You opened your eyes, looking up to see Zendaya standing in front of you smiling. "Oh, my god," you exclaimed, "I fell asleep?" You cursed under your breath, shaking your head as you stood up.

"Happy Anniversary?" You whined, your foot stomping as Zendaya pulled you into a hug, kissing your temple. "I can't believe you're here!" She pulled away, looking at everything you did. "How long have you been here?" You looked at the time, seeing it nearing one-thirty.

"Four hours? Or something... hey," she turned to look at you, placing her hands in yours, "happy anniversary – I love you." She smiled, leaning her forehead against yours.

"Happy anniversary, I love you too."

You glanced around the room, it looked a lot less exciting to you. You sighed. "There's a bath drawn, but, it might be cold now." You frowned, but she smiled, shrugging.

"We can try that later – I just want to spend time with you." She led you to the bed, laying you down and then cradling your head close to her chest. "I missed you, I'm just so glad you're here and I didn't have to wait until Monday." She sighed in content, reaching for the remote and turning on the TV.

"Are you still tired?" You shook your head, snuggling closer to her. Your eyes were becoming heavy despite your argument that you weren't tired.

"You're warm," you hummed, earning a light laugh from her.

"Thank you – for all of this." You barely registered your own nod, your breathing becoming heavier. "Goodnight, lovebug." You barely heard her whisper, your eyes shutting as the sound of the television became static.

-

"Morning! I've got breakfast started," You walked into the small kitchen inside of the room, smelling the aroma of toast and pancakes. You hummed, walking behind Zendaya and wrapping your arms around her waist. "What are you thinking about?" You shrugged, resting your chin on her shoulder, having to lean up slightly due to the small height difference.

"We never got to put that bath last night to good use." She laughed, turning around to face you.

"Slow down, tiger – we gotta build up stamina first." She winked at you, turning back to make sure her breakfast wasn't burning. All-in-all, you had to pat yourself on the back for a pretty successful anniversary surprise.
