Summary: When Harry misses home.

"This fucking sucks, so much," Harry groaned into the phone, laying down on his hotel room bed. It felt stiff compared to the one at home and yours. Harry loved traveling with his brother, acting like his personal photographer and seeing new sights – he just wished you could come with him. You always joked about dropping out of school and just following him and Tom around, but you both knew that wasn't a real option.

"I know, baby," you sighed into the phone, laying on your bed. It definitely wasn't as warm, knowing Harry was so far away. "I miss you," you mumbled, climbing up your bed and landing softly on the pillows. "It feels empty without you here."

"I know that feeling," Harry said, looking to his right and feeling his heart break at the sight of it being empty. "I have to go soon," he sighed. "Can we FaceTime after the conference?"

You nodded, remembering he couldn't see you. "Yes. Please."

"I love you," he said, just as Tom was calling him from the other room.

"I love you, too."

"Hurry up, mate! I want to get back home!"

"You just want to see your butt buddy."

"We don't do that much butt stuff." Harry laughed when Tom pretended to gag, putting his things in the van his parents picked them up in.

"You're disgusting." Tom commented, shaking his head.

"Harry!"

Harry looked up at Tom, his eyes narrowing. "Did you hear that?"

"Harry!"

Tom helped his brother look around – it wasn't just Harry hearing your voice. "Mate, there!" Tom extended his arm, pointing toward you across the street, checking to see if there was any oncoming traffic before darting across.

"Holy shit," Harry muttered, dropping all of his things on the ground and having to jump over them as he ran toward you, meeting you half way. You two collided against each other, knocking the wind out of the other, but not caring as the warmth filled your bodies and you suddenly felt comfort – you both felt... at home.

"Harry?" You questioned, feeling something warm against your shoulder. You pulled away from him slightly, seeing his face red and tear-stained. "Oh, baby... what's wrong?" Your hands reached up to cup his face, brushing the tears away from his eyes.

"I just – I missed you so much." He whispered, shaking his head at how stupid he felt. He rested his forehead against yours. "I've never missed home so much."

"I know the feeling," you reassured him, your hands still on his face while you pulled him closer to you, kissing him. Your hands left his face as they circled around his neck, feeling his arms wind around your waist and pulling you against him. "I'm glad you're home." You mumbled against him.

"Glad to be home."
