We stood for a few minutes, neither of them saying anything, but neither letting go. I squirmed a little, but that just caused them to hold me tighter.

"Um, guys? As much as I appreciate this, you are not helping my shoulder in any way." This caused them both to jump back. They smiled sheepishly and I nodded my head in the direction of the kitchen. We each took a seat at the island, grabbed a piece of chocolate cake (that was almost gone) and I told them what happened.

By the time I was done, Damien came in, with Bailey still clinging on to them. I smiled at them, grabbing the last two pieces of cake and handed them over. "I made sure to save you some. I had to fight off three other people, but I did it."

Bailey giggled as Damien sat her on a stool beside me, and then started eating her cake. Damien leaned against the counter and ate his, and smiled at me.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Lisa and James share a look, and then looked at me, both very confused. I told them I would explain later throught the mind-link.

We all fell into a comfortable silence. None of us knew what to say. It hadn't been longer than ten minutes when Maddie walked in.

She glared at me, like always, and quickly clamped on to Damien's arm. I rolled my eyes and looked over at Bailey. She had scrunched up her nose at Maddie. That made me smile.

"Damien, who is that? And why is her skirt so short? And her top. I can see her boobies." Bailey spoke so clearly, and got straight to the point.

I snorted, and was laughing within seconds, with James and Lisa not far behind. We put our hands over our mouths, but Maddie still glared.

I could see the amusement in Damien's eyes as he gave me a pointed look. "Um, Bailey, this is Maddie."

Maddie tried to put a fake smile on her face, but it just made her look super creepy. Bailey seemed to think so too.

"Is she your girlfriend?"

Damien blushed. Like actually blushed. "No Bailey. She's just a good friend."

Bailey nodded now and smiled. "That's good. She isn't that pretty. She's not like Emmy."

Maddie and I seemed to have the same reaction, with our eyes widening. I started blushing like crazy and ducked my head. Maddie, however, was pissed.

"Excuse me? I'm not pretty?" She screeched out, causing Bailey to cover her ears. "God, Damien, who is this little brat?"

My head shot up and I glared at Maddie. She really didn't know when to shut up. Before I could say anything though, Damien beat me to it.

"Maddie this is my little sister. And if I ever hear you talking to her like that again, or call her a 'brat' I will personally see to it that you are cleaning every bathroom in this house for a month." He growled and she just stood there speechless.

"Also, I'm done with you hanging around me all the time. I don't like you, I don't want to date you and I'm never gonna sleep- I mean I'm never gonna have a sleepover  with you again. You got that?" He shot me a look, when I almost started laughing at him almost saying he slept with Maddie in front of Bailey.

I bit my lip to stop from laughing, but I couldn't hold it in when I saw Maddie's face. It was too much. I burst out laughing, clutching my sides as I did so. This, apparently, was a bad idea.

"What the hell are you laughing at?" Maddie was still screeching. God she had an annoying voice.

"You. I'm laughing at you." I smiled cheerfully. This was actually improving my day.
