Crying from little Timiya Jones room filled the house, waking her parents up from their sleep. Jughead groaned, pulling a pillow over his head and Y/N tossed and turned, hoping that if they let their 7 year old daughter cry it out that she'd stop. After about four minutes of crying, Y/N sat up and sighed.
"Fine, I'll take care of it." she said kind of grumpily, throwing the covers off herself and Jughead chuckled slightly.
"Thank you, beautiful." he said and she threw her pillow at him. She trudged her way to her daughters room, opening the door to find the (y/h/c) girl sitting up in bed with tears rolling down her face.
"Momma?" she asked, while Y/N made her way to the little girls bed, and Timiya flew into her arms, crying into her shoulder. "He came again, The Shadow came again and he's trying to get me!"
"Sweetheart, he can't get you, he isn't real." Y/N said, trying to comfort her daughter, but the little girl shook her head.
"Yes he is! Claire told me he was real and that he was going to get me and Claire's dad told her that monsters are real so she would know!" she argued, and Y/N had to hold back a chuckle at the little girls explanation of things. Just then, Jughead crept into the room as well, and Timiya looked up at him, and she smiled at her.
"So whats all the ruckus about?" he asked, and Y/N turned, taking a seat on the edge of the little girls bed.
"She said that The Shadow visited her again." Y/N explained to her husband, and he pretended to be surprised.
"Wow, you got a visitor?" he asked. "Lucky you! No one ever comes and see's your grumpy old dad." he said, acting jealous, and the little girl smiled.
"Lots of people visit you. Like Uncle Archie and Auntie Betty!" she exclaimed, and Y/N laughed.
"Wow, she got you there, Dad." she said, and Jughead chuckled.
"And Auntie Cheryl and Auntie Ronnie, and you forgot about Uncle Kevin!" she continued listing people off, making her dad nod his head. "Oh, and Auntie Toni too!"
"Well, I mean, besides them." he said, and Timiya laughed.
"That's a lot of people, and they aren't scary like the shadow." she explained, and Jughead took a seat by his wife on their daughters bed.
"What makes him so scary?" Y/N asked, and the little girl thought for a second, playing with the end of her blanket.
"He just is. He's ugly and he wants me to go with him but I don't want to go anywhere with him." she said, and Jughead gave her a confused look.
