Y/N sat in a booth with her longtime boyfriend Jughead silently. Sher mind was racing, and so was his, but for two different reasons. While he was hyper focused on his final essay for English class, the last one of his whole high school career, she was going over a conversation in her head that she was hoping to have with the raven haired boy who sat across the table from her. Sure, she too should be focused on her essay, but she couldn't right now, she needed to get this heavy weight off her chest.

She really didn't think she had to be too nervous about the upcoming conversation, she was sure Jughead would understand. They had been together and in love ever since she moved to Riverdale a few weeks before sophomore year began, and in that time they had gotten extremely close, as boyfriend and girlfriend usually were. But this decision she had made for herself could put that in jeopardy, although she hoped it wouldn't.

With high school nearing to an end for the two of them, she saw that her life was beginning to turn the page to a brand new chapter, and of course that was scary, but the decision she had made was even scarier. Jughead after high school was going to Columbia University in New York, of course. They had an amazing English program which he was hoping would help boost his talent in writing. With that being said, Y/N was supposed to go to University of Rochester for the same major, she just got accepted into a different school.

They both shot for a school in the same state so they would have better chances of seeing eachother, and of course Y/N wanted to see the boy as much as she could, but there was something else that had been nagging at her for a long time. Y/N was obsessed with theater, more so than writing although she put of a façade that writing came first because of the judgement she got otherwise, and she had dreamed forever of making it big time. When Y/N first ran from home, her plan was originally to go to California, but somehow her mind changed and she ended up in Riverdale, and although she was glad she did, her burning yearn to go to LA still dug at her.

Out of curiosity and boredom one day, she messaged an agent that she had met once through a family friend, asking about the chances of pursuing  a career out there in acting, and he responded fairly quickly, telling her to send in an audition tape and a headshot. She did so, not expecting much to come out of it, but to her complete surprise, the agent said that she was good, and he could see himself managing her and setting her up with auditions, saying that once she finished high school, that if she could move out there, he could start putting her out there. Excitement was an understatement, hell she was ecstatic, she had a shot at going out there and making it big, someone finally believed in her.

Now, came one of the hardest parts of the plan, telling Jughead. She didn't want him to resent her for abandoning their plan and moving across the country, but at the same time she had faith he'd still be there for her and understand. As her mind raced, she didn't notice that the boy she was so worried about was now staring at her complex and worried face, tapping on the table to try to get her attention.
