A/N: Here is a sad ass story because I'm sad and even more sad and its kinda based off my life, I mean pretty much. Like I was broken up with vaguely on my vacation but he was a sweetheart and apologized and explained himself the other day so we are cool now and my friend did die also on my vacation and ugh. Today was her wake and I couldn't go and I'm gonna go cry now so enjoy my semi vent story. We will back to regularly scheduled happy mushy shit tomorrow I guess. Much love.

The past few months had been especially rough on Y/N, which was saying a lot considering it seemed as if Y/N could never catch a break from the shit luck train. The past two weeks didn't help her case whats so ever, in fact, it had just worsened her mood. Y/N was supposed to take a break from her crazy life in Riverdale and visit her aunt for a little while in Florida. Of course, she was excited, but also nervous, the Black Hood was still roaming around the small town causing havoc and she felt a little guilty to leave her friends behind to deal with the mess. They had convinced her that she had to go though, that it was best for her overall mental health, and that she deserved a break from her crazy life.

So she went, expecting the two weeks she was supposed to be out there to be a break, a time where she could enjoy the feeling of happiness, a feeling that was pretty rare for her the past few years. She was surprised her aunt had even wanted her out there, she had never really met the woman, at least not at any time she could remember, and they had hardly spoken. It took awhile for her aunt to track the girl down, after she had ran away from her hometown, she had covered her trails fairly well so her family couldn't find her, but apparently she didn't do it well enough. Her aunt had promised not to tell her family though, and had just said she wanted to see the girl and hang out for awhile, and Y/N felt happy that someone wanted her around.

The whole trip was supposed to be a break from Y/Ns crazy life, she made the mistake of assuming that her bad luck would take a rest for the two weeks and let her enjoy her time out there. She had assumed wrong, for just a few days in, her bad luck hit in a way she thought it never would.

Y/N was laying in bed late at night on her fifth day in Florida, trying her best to go to sleep when her phone started to ring, scaring the living hell out of her. She sat up and looked over at the digital clock on the nightstand, checking the time before she looked to see who was calling. It was almost 1am, and the caller ID showed it was her boyfriend, Jughead Jones. The tingly excitement she felt every time she saw his name on her phone filled her slightly, and she answered it. Had it been anyone else calling, she would have silenced it and cursed them for calling so late.
