"Hello?" she repeated. "Danielle?" she said.

"Oh, hello." I finally spoke.

"I'm going to call Luke, wait."

"No, no. It's fine. I'm going to call him again later." I tell her.

"Are you sure?" Alyssa asked.

"Yeah." I said and end the call quickly.

Wow, he's with Alyssa. He told me he's ending his relationship with her, now they're together. Nice, Luke.

I want back to bed and laid my back.

Maybe he's with her because she needs company. Just someone to be with. I understand her situation though. I shouldn't feel this. I need to trust him because that's how relationships last right? Having trust with each other.

A knock on my door wiped my thoughts away.

"Come in," I instructed. As soon as the door flung open, it revealed a cute little girl holding a notebook and a pencil.

"Hi," she said as she closed the door.

"Hi Jana, what made you come here?" I sit up and fixed my hair.

"I wanted to ask you if you could help me with my assignments?" she sat beside me.

"Sure. What subject is that?" I asked her enthusiastically.

"Math." she rolled her eyes as she said the word.

"Kindergarten mathematics is easy right?" I joked and she chuckled.

I started teaching her geometry that discusses shapes and its sides. I hope high school math is easy as this so I don't need someone to tutor me anymore.

When we finished, I insisted that we will do an advance study about her next lesson. I need to distract my self. Keep my thoughts away from Luke and everything I left in Australia.

"Dinner is ready, young ladies." Dad went to the room exactly when we closed the book.

"She's a strict teacher Uncle Chip." she sighed and I laughed.

"I need to be darling. It looks like you're not eager to learn." I said and she let out another sigh.

"Well, let's go down for dinner. The sisters prepared something delicious for us." dad said and we both stood up.

I closed the door and followed them downstairs.

I went straight to the dining room and my nose was welcomed by something good.

"Smells good." I told them.

"Thanks Danielle." Aunt Meg smiled and I sweetly smiled back at her.

"Can you help us prepare Danielle?" mum asked and I went to help her.

"Sure."

I placed the plain white glass plates on the table over the wooden place mats. I stormed to the kitchen to get spoon and forks, enough for the seven people eating these yummy delicacies.

Once is already set, we sat down and started eating.

"Danielle, have you talked to your Aunt Liz?" mum asked me in the middle of her conversation with dad.

"Nope, not yet. Why?" I said after I swallowed the food in my mouth.

"Nothing. Just checking the house. Well ask her or Luke to check the house." she smiled.

I simply nodded in reply and went back to my food.

Well, thank you mum. You reminded me of Luke again.
