Chapter 11

Y/N POV

You had been working towards this goal for 4 and a half years. 

It was your dream since you were 5, most of your mother's side did this job. 

The one job you wanted to do was just simply too much for you. 

Trying to keep up with all the lesson plans, and criteria, implementing it all and trying to pass with your sanity still in tact wasn't going well. 

The job you thought you would love was stressing you out so much you felt physically sick every day doing it. 

You tried to tell yourself it would get better but it didn't and it wouldn't. 

You knew it, your teachers knew and your advisors knew. 

It was time to call it quits, you were just not cut out to do this job. 

Your dream of being an elementary school teacher was finally over. 

You were slightly at a loss of what to do. 

Luckily your advisors were fairly helpful telling you that you weren't the first person to quit student teaching and you wouldn't be the last. 

It was like a burden was lifted off your shoulders not having to do student teaching anymore but the problem was now what do you do. 

Thankfully you had been working towards your early childhood degree as well so you could finish that. 

The alternative was to be a para but that required more schooling then the first option. 

Your advisors told you to take your time to figure out what you wanted to do. 

You decided that was best. 

You run to find Taehyung. 

He was all you wanted, some comfort from all this stress you had been through. 

You find him in his room. 

You rush over to him and pull him into a hug. 

He quickly wraps his arms around you. 

He asks if you are ok. 

You are not, all the stress and pressure to perform in school and succeed was wearing you thin. 

Your emotions were out of wack, you weren't sure how much sleep you had been getting lately. 

You can't hold it in anymore as tears start streaming down your face. 

Taehyung glances down at you with a worried facial expression. 

He seems to understand that you just need him to hold you and wait thank goodness. 

He holds you tighter and strokes your hair lovingly. 

You eventually calm down telling him that you dropped out of the student teaching program, you just couldn't do it anymore.

He nods saying ok Y/N, we can get through this together. 

You needed him being there for you. 

You ask if you can discuss options with him. 

He of course says yes, you can talk to him about anything. 

You tell him your options while he listens intently. 

He asks what you are thinking first. 

You tell him that you like the idea of finishing your early childhood degree because it takes less time so less money to accomplish.
