Chapter 25

Y/N POV

You got to spend a few days getting to know his family before any of you opened any presents.

The family were all pretty talkative, you got to learn a lot about his family but also a lot about Taehyung and how he grew up.

His mother was really good about telling his life story, it must be embarrassing to Taehyung but you wanted to know it all.

You got to know Taehyung so much better just by talking to his mom.

You knew him pretty well already but learning more never hurt.

His dad was pretty hilarious, still always trying to embarrass his son.

Taehyung would take it all in stride.

You spent time at their house watching tv, and movies.

You went out to the mall and did other shopping.

You ate family meals together, mom would cook or sometimes Grandpa would decide for everyone that we were going out to eat.

You were really enjoying your time with his family.

The day came to open presents.

You got more than you expected, each person would open a present taking turns till all of them were open.

You got lots of craft stuff and some things his mom made for you.

Taehyung got socks and underwear, and some video games.

You thought you both got some pretty good stuff you were excited.

The next day you got to have the whole day just you and Taehyung.

He took you to his old college and showed you around.

No one was there because of the holidays so you just walked around the buildings while he told you what they were for.

It was pretty scenery around the college and it was just a nice walk.

You were glad he didn't stay at this college though otherwise you would have never met.

While you were walking around you came to a hill, Taehyung asks "Do you want to climb it?"

You flatly told him "No."

That's weird, oh well.

You had already walked around enough, why would you want to climb a hill?!!!

You find out later why he wanted you to.

After looking around for a couple hours Taehyung decides it's time to get some food.

You agree, your tummy is telling you that you are starving.

He asks "Where do you want to eat?"

You think about it, you hadn't ever been to his city so you didn't know much besides the normal chain restaurants.

"Taehyung I don't know what's really here, take me to your favorite place that you used to go to when you lived here, I bet I'll love it."

He seems to be thinking before he states "Ok, but if I get weird stuff according to your standards you have to try it."

You pretend to think about it before you say "Deal."

You didn't think you were that picky of an eater but you really weren't that adventurous in trying new things either.

You were grateful to Taehyung he loved trying new things especially when it came to food.

He often got things neither of you had tried before and forced you to try it.

Because of him your fear of trying new things was slowly going away.

It was nice to be able to eat food with more of a variety.

He was your other half, you both helped each other grow and learn.

He took you to a little restaurant, it kinda reminded you of your favorite place to eat at in your college town.

It was a quaint small family run business, at least you were told it was family run.

You could see their kids running around playing in the restaurant.

You didn't realize you were staring at them slightly giggling till Taehyung placed a hand on your arm.

You jump a little.

He says "You are getting the cute glint in your eyes again."

You look at him and ask "What?"

You couldn't understand what he meant.

"Y/N you get a cute glint in your eyes when you stare at adorable children."

"Taehyung I do not."

"Oh yes you do Y/N, but that's what I love about you."

You blush.

You finally get to order, Taehyung orders for both of you.

You were fine with that you were too distracted by the children anyway to look at the menu.

You got your food and began to eat.

You got to try ox tail and beef heart, both were exceptional good.

Once you were both full you decided to see a movie.

You got to the movie theatre parking lot.

Taehyung says "Stay here I'll get the movie tickets."

You oblige and sit waiting in the car for him to come back.

While he is gone You look at things on the internet off your phone.

You see him coming back in the side view mirror shortly after.

He comes to your side of the door telling you "Y/N roll down your window."

You do, not sure what's going on.

He hands you the tickets, yay you are going to see Frozen!!!!

He tells you "Ok hold out your hands and close your eyes."

You are confused but you do as he says.

You feel an item being placed into your hands.

"Ok Y/N open your eyes."

You open your eyes to see a small green velvet box, that is opened with a small silver ring inside.

"Y/N will you marry me?"
