Chapter 26

Taehyung POV

You got to spend some days with your family before the day of opening presents arrived. 

Everyone loved Y/N, they talked to her so much trying to get to know her. 

Your mother of course was telling every story from your childhood, it was slightly embarrassing but that's just how your mom was. 

You dad had to embarrass you like usual, you knew there was no stopping your family, might as well live with it. 

You watched movies, and tv at the house. 

You took Y/N shopping at the mall and other places. 

You wanted to show her a good time, it was slightly like a mini vacation with her. 

You wanted to make the best of it. 

You all ate together, your mom cooked most of the time, otherwise Grandpa would have a brilliant idea of going out to eat somewhere. 

You had really missed your family it was great being home with them but also having Y/N there too. 

Finally the day came to open presents. 

You got socks, underwear and video games. 

You always ran out of socks and underwear. 

But it was a little embarrassing to open with Y/N there. 

She got lots of good crafting supplies and handmade stuff from your mother. 

Your mother was quite the crafter herself, they seemed to bond over that pretty well. 

You were wanting to propose to her around your family but you also didn't want to pressure her and make her feel awkward. 

You decided against it and just propose the next day. 

You took her to your old college. 

It was pretty and was empty right now because of the holidays. 

You took her around and showed her the campus.

You told her where everything was. 

You had this one hill you wanted to propose to her on. 

You ask her if she wants to climb the hill.

She tells you no. 

Well shoot, now what do you do?!!

You had this ring in your pocket all day, you had to propose to her sometime today. 

You couldn't wait past today, you had this ring picked out and bought six months before this!!!! 

You just knew you had to ask her to be your wife. 

There was no question. 

It had been a long walk around campus maybe food would help you think up a plan. 

You tell her let's get some food. 

She agrees. 

You can hear her stomach growling. 

You ask her where she wants to eat. 

Y/N is silent for a few seconds before answering with she doesn't know the area well so take her to your favorite place that you used to go to when you lived here, and that she bets she will love it. 

You state ok, but if you got weird stuff according to her standards she had to try it. 

She looks like she is thinking before replying with deal. 

You wanted to widen Y/N's horizon on different foods. 

You knew she was scared to try things so you made it a habit to help her with that fear. 

You loved trying new things and planned on changing her view to the same as yours someday. 

You took her to your favorite little family run restaurant. 

You notice she is staring at their kids running around. 

She has that beautiful glint in her eyes, the one she gets when she sees kids. 

You know she loves kids and so do you, but her love for them was so endearing and heartfelt. 

You place your hand gently on her arm. 

She slightly jumps. 

You say you are getting that cute little glint in your eyes. 

She looks at you confused asking what. 

You respond with you get a cute little glint in your eyes when you stare at adorable children. 

She replies she does not. 

You firmly state that she does too, but that's what you love about her. 

You see her cheeks turn a pale pink. 

You finally get to order, you order for both of you. 

You get ox tail, and beef heart to try and a few other meats. 

You also had to get japchae (stir fry of glass noodles), it was your favorite meal. 

The food comes out and you both eat till you are contentedly full. 

You mention you should go see a movie. 

She seems fine with that. 

You get to the movie theatre parking lot, you tell her to stay there while you get the tickets. 

You were gonna see Frozen, you knew she want to and that was enough for you to watch it with her. 

You buy the tickets and head back to the car. 

You have to propose soon, the box feels like it's burning a hole in your pocket. 

You just can't wait anymore, you have had it for six months, six long months. 

You wanted it to be romantic but you just were too impatient now to wait for the right moment anymore. 

You just wanted Y/N to be yours and only yours!!!! 

You tell her to open the window, as she does you hand her the tickets. 

She seems excited for the movie. 

You ask her to hold out her hands and close her eyes. 

She does. 

You pull out the box and open it, you place it gently on her open hands. 

You say it's ok to open her eyes now. 

You see her open them. 

She stares at the box with a look of surprise on her cute face. 

You then ask her if she will marry you. 

You dearly hope she says yes.
