Y/N found the perfect place for the reception.

Unfortunately you couldn't go see it with her.

She sent you lots of pictures so you got the basic idea.

It looks nice to you.

It has a bar, tables, chairs and a small dance floor.

Y/N tells you that they have to move some tables and chairs for dancing.

That didn't bother you.

It seems big enough for all the guests you are inviting.

You agree with Y/N that it is a good location, close to the ceremony and hotels.

You learn the lady who runs the venue also does the catering.

You were totally fine with only paying one person for all of that.

Y/N tells you what food she decided on to ask for your opinion.

You ask why you need both beef bulgogi and chicken bulgogi.

She states that you need a beef dish and a chicken dish, that's just how it is at weddings.

You were still confused but decide just to go with it.

You like both anyway.

You are especially happy that she wants japchae, she knows it's your favorite and how to get on your good side.

Also a meal is not considered a meal when rice and banchans are a absent.

Kimchi is always needed as well.

You agree with the food choices, really excited for your wedding day when you can eat it all.

Since everyone agreed to that location for the venue Y/N's parents paid to have it booked.

Well at least something big has been chosen.

That will hopefully help Y/N from worrying so much.

Now soon you would get to see Y/N and go cake tasting.

It is definitely the best part of the wedding planning.

You love the free cake!!!

You are counting down the days till you see Y/N and get to taste cake again.

The day finally comes for the cake tasting appointment.

You go with Y/N and her mom.

You start looking at all the photos in the book.

They have made some pretty cool cakes in the past.

You hope it tastes as good as they look.

The owner ushers you in and has you all sit.

She asks you lots of questions about yourselves and the wedding.

How you two met, how long you two have been together and where you are getting married.

She wants to know where the reception is, approximately how many guests and when the wedding is.

The owner seems really nice and friendly.

She cracks jokes, is fairly peppy and just a joy to be around.

You would be ecstatic if she would be your cake lady.

You find out she is the primary baker as well as being the owner.

You eventually get to try the cakes.

You know immediately you want these cakes at the wedding.

She is your cake lady!!!

The cake was perfect and tasted like it was made by an angel.

It has the right type of frosting, not the whipped stuff, it had to be buttercream that was the only logical way to make frosting.

There wasn't too much or too little frosting.

The cake is the perfect texture, it has just the right amount of moisture in it, and springiness.

You adored the strawberry, but knew Y/N would choose chocolate.

You know if you ever need to get on her good side or just make her feel better just give her chocolate.

You are right she does want chocolate!

You book the cake lady.

You pick chocolate and strawberry for flavors, adding on vanilla for a third choice.

The owner asks what flavors for the topper.

You ask what she means.

She has to explain about saving the topper to eat on your one year anniversary.

You didn't know this was a thing but it's tradition so why not.

Also that means you can eat this cake in a year, it's delicious and you would be happy to eat it again at that time.

Y/N wants chocolate and you want strawberry, you think about giving in but it's hard.

Luckily the cake lady tells you she can mix both flavors into the cake topper.

You both decide that's a fantastic idea.

So it shall be done.

Y/N wants cherry blossoms on the outside, it's your theme and it's her favorite flower so you are up for it.

You can't wait till the wedding!!!

Delicious cake, marriage to Y/N, really good food.

It's just a win-win type of situation.

If only it would come sooner.
