Chapter 43

Y/N POV

You get a call from Taehyung, you are so excited to hear his voice.

You pick up saying "Hi hun!"

He says "Hi."

That's weird he usually sounds happier to talk to you and gives you an adorable pet name.

Something is up, this isn't your normal Taehyung.

You start to worry.
What's up Taehyung, you sound dejected?"

You hear him sigh heavily on the other end before answering "Y/N work let me go today."

You almost shout into the phone "What?!"

"I don't know what to do Y/N, they just came up to me and said pack up your stuff, you no longer work here."

You hear him start to slightly cry and break down on the phone.

You wished you could be there and hold him and comfort him.

He is your everything and it breaks your heart to hear him this way.

You are angry that his work sounded like an ass to him.

You wish you could fix this but you can't.

"Taehyung we can get through this together, I'll come see you when I can, and I know my parents will help out as much as you need."

"I know Y/N, I'm just still processing how I'm going to get through this when I have no income."

You know it will be tough but he has been through worse.

You ask "Can't you always go back to the sandwich shop if you can't find a job soon?"

He states "Yeah I can I don't want to but it might be the best choice if I can't find a new job soon."

You know he doesn't want to go back but he might need to if he is to survive.

"I'll try my best to find a new job Y/N, I promise if it takes to long I'll go back to the sandwich shop."

"Also I'm really glad I have you by my side, I don't know if I could do this without you," he utters.

"I'm happy to be here for you, there isn't anywhere else I'd rather be," you mention.

It's the truth, you just hope everything works out.

You pray he finds a new job soon.

"I gotta go Y/N so I can start searching for a new job, I love you."

"I love you too Taehyung, remember I am here if you need me."

"I know, but thanks for the reminder, bye babe," he says.

Well at least he sounds a little better than when he first responded.

"Bye hun."

Taehyung started looking for new jobs.

You go see him almost every weekend since he needs to save his money.

You know he goes to his friend's house a lot, because they willingly feed him free food so he doesn't starve, and let him use their internet to look for jobs.

They didn't care if he was there every night to eat or all day even.

You are grateful they are helping him out as much as they can since you are far enough away you can't do much.

It kills you slightly that you can't do more for him.

Before you know it it's been three weeks since he lost his job and it's not looking good.

Taehyung finally decides he has to go back to the sandwich shop till he finds a better job again.

Luckily they take him back right away.

Sadly he ends up working there for three months till he finds a new job.

You pick up your phone to Taehyung shouting "Y/N I got a job!"

The news immediately brings a smile to your face.

"Where are you working Taehyung?"

He answers "At a center for behavioral children."

You love children but you knew you would never be able to work somewhere like that.

You hope it works out well for him.

You say "I'm so glad you have a job now."

He states "Me too."

You could tell he was feeling a lot better.

The past four months he has been slightly depressed.

You couldn't blame him really, he lost his job and had to go back to a job he didn't want to be at.

It was nice to hear the old Taehyung, and just have him back.

"Sorry Y/N but I have to go talk to them now, love you."

"Love you too Taehyung."

Finally things were looking up.

Hopefully it stays that way.
