Y/N POV
His semester of classes has finally ended, now it's Taehyung's turn to graduate.
He is graduating with two majors one in Psychology and the other in Sociology.
His parents also want a graduation party, they end up having it in his town he grew up in.
So thankfully it was only an hour away from you.
You wanted to go early to help out and spend time with Taehyung.
You hadn't seen him in awhile thanks to his schooling.
You were so overjoyed to be able to spend a whole day with him, even if it meant you had to share him with his family and friends.
You got there and immediately started helping put out decorations and food.
Taehyung's mother made japchae, rice and other banchans.
You could tell Taehyung was so happy for the japchae, you knew it was his favorite.
He longingly kept staring at it, it made you want to laugh at him.
He really did love his food, it was a trait you loved about him!!!
Eventually guests start arriving, Taehyung introduces you to everyone that comes through the door you don't know, always as his fiancé.
The word always brings a smile to your face.
You meet a lot of his family you never knew and more childhood friends.
You stand by his side while he talks to his guests.
Taehyung is having a great time seeing all his old friends and family that lives far away.
You on the other hand are trying to enjoy it but you can't help feeling nervous.
It's so many people, and so many you don't know.
You wouldn't classify yourself as a social butterfly, you could be but usually more with people you know.
With all these strangers it was more nerve wrecking to interact with and just hold a conversation in general.
Taehyung was always more of a social butterfly than you.
He had a way of being able to talk to anyone so easily and just pick up friends like that, in a snap.
On occasion you would watch the projector.
You got to see pictures of Taehyung from birth to his college years.
He was such a cute baby.
It was fun to see all the photos of him in plays from his high school years.
His mother had to of course come over and explain all the photos to you.
You didn't mind though, you got to learn even more about the man you would marry.
One thing that was consistent was everyone wanted to see the ring, which everyone also approved of.
It was simple yet elegant, you didn't want anything too fancy anyway.
You are a simple gal.
Taehyung told you to eat.
You obliged not wanting what happened at your graduation to happen again.
You filled up your plate and sat down.
You ended up sitting with Taehyung's maternal grandparents.
You hadn't really met them before but they seemed nice.
His grandma could really talk, she told you lots of stories about Taehyung when he was younger.
She asked you lots of questions to which you graciously replied to.
You slightly wondered if his grandma would ever stop talking.
Grandpa was more reserved, letting his wife do most of the talking.
You see a figure out of the corner of your eye sit down next to you.
When you look over you see Taehyung with a plate filled high with food.
You giggle knowing he must be hungry.
You feel slightly relieved that he is there too now.
He asks "What are you talking about?"
You say "Oh just about your childhood."
He looks at grandma mentioning "I hope it's not the embarrassing moments."
You laugh while uttering "Not too embarrassing."
"Ok good, you don't need anymore arsenal to tease me with."
As he sticks out his tongue.
You glare at him telling him "That's not funny."
You proceed to cross your arms.
He laughs at you saying "Aw but it's fun to tease you too, you are so cute when you try to be angry at me."
"Try Taehyung, who says I am trying, I am angry at you."
You tried your best to sound convincing, but even Taehyung wasn't fooled.
He grabs your hand and sweetly kisses the back of it.
"You know you can't stay mad at me for long Y/N."
You knew he was right but you didn't want to give in.
He started making his weird faces, you couldn't hold it in anymore as you start laughing till you clutch your sides in pain.
He won.
You both enjoy the rest of the party till it's time to clean up.
You help picking up trash and putting food away.
You knew you would see these guests all again soon, you were so ready and overjoyed to be marrying Taehyung in the future.
If only time would speed up.
