Not at First Sight Book 2!!!

Chapter 14

Taehyung POV

You don't know why but you were chosen to be one of the contestants for Mr. WSC this year. 

You weren't sure how well you would do but you would try your best. 

You had to pick an outfit for the fashion portion, plan out a talent, and impersonate a teacher. 

You didn't think there was really anyway to prepare for the questions but you would try. 

It was finally time to watch all the other contestants show off their fashion while you stand off stage. 

You thought some were pretty cool, others were hilariously girly and just outrageous. 

It was a great time just watching off stage. 

You get more nervous as time goes on. 

Eventually it's your turn to show off your fashion choice. 

You head on stage trying to strut like a real model while wearing your red bathrobe with black trim, black pants, black slip on shoes and carrying your pipe. 

You wanted to look sophisticated but you didn't know if you had pulled it off. 

You were hoping you didn't look like a player instead. 

You did a few poses before heading off stage. 

The next category was talent. 

You watched the others perform, some danced, and others sang. 

Some contestants burped the alphabet or other bizarre talents that were more stupid than anything. 

You loved acting so why not do that for your talent. 

You decided to act but make it a little weird and interesting at the same time by adding peacock noises and strutting around like one. 

At least they would remember your performance. 

It was finally your turn you go out you say "I am doing a one man Shakespeare play but with a twist." 

You start with "To be;or not to be: that is the question." 

After your quote you begin your peacock calls. 

You hear the audience roaring with laughter. 

You continue uttering "Whether 'tis  nobler in the mind to suffer." 

You let out your peacock call again while strutting around like one. 

You speak "The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles." 

You spout out a another call. 

You utter "And by opposing end them?" 

"To die: to sleep; no more; and by a sleep to say we end the heartache and the thousand natural shocks." 

You end with a very loud peacock call and strutting before bowing then just walking off stage. 

Next portion was the impersonations. 

You heard and saw the contestants when you were standing off stage. 

All of them seemed to be doing a great job. 

Eventually it was your turn. 

You were impersonating one of your history professors. 

You end up walking out with an entire coffee pot, you didn't want to drink that much coffee so you put in flat Dr. Pepper it had the same color pretty much. 

You sit at the edge of the desk guzzling the contents rapidly. 

You then rant and rave about everything you learned in his class about history. 

You continue imitating him by talking about his trip to Paris with his wife, it was another quirk he did a lot. 

The crowd is laughing loudly and really getting into your performance. 

You begin to walk off stage feeling proud of how you did. 

Last category was questions. 

You noticed there were stupid ones that were just looking for stupid answers and actual thought provoking ones that had actual content to them. 

It was definitely entertaining to listen to their answers off stage. 

You went on stage for your turn curious what questions you would be given. 

Your first question by the mc is "What advantage do you have over the other contestants?" 

You reply with "I don't believe I have an advantage, I am just trying my best like the rest of the contestants, also I'm trying to make the audience laugh and have a good time." 

The crowd cheers, they seem to enjoy your answer. 

The mc asks your next question "Who is the most influential person in your life?" 

You say "It's a hard decision, it's a tie between my mom and my grandma, both raised me right," continuing with "Both are my best friends and both taught me how to treat women like princesses." 

"My mom and grandma both give great advice and are always there for me when I need them, I honestly don't know what I would do without them." 

The audience is clapping profusely but also looks slightly emotional from your statements. 

Your last question from the mc is "Which male idol do you find hot?" 

You think about your answer before you speak. 

You knew they were looking for a name and just a stupid answer but that wasn't your thinking, you were more than that. 

You answer with "It's not all about the outside far as beauty, the inside can also be very beautiful as well." 

You state "The inside is almost better though, the beauty of a kind and loving heart." 

You say this while searching the crowd for Y/N, you finally see her and smile widely at her. 

The crowd goes crazy over your answer. 

The mc is taken aback by your odd way of answering the question but soon recovers to continue the questioning of other contestants. 

They get through all the contestants and it's time to wait for the results. 

You wait terrified off stage. 

The judges finally decide. 

You wait on stage for them to call out the contestant's name that won. 

The mc announces the winner "Taehyung!" 

Wait what?! 

You mean I'm the winner, how did this happen?!

You were so shocked that you won. 

You were Mr. WSC!!! 

The audience gives you a standing ovation. 

You felt very honored, who knew you would win a contest for anything?

You ended up getting a plaque saying Mr. WSC and a crown that you would treasure for years to come.
