Taehyung POV

You just lost your job, you didn't know what to do with yourself.

But you knew you wanted to hear Y/N's voice, it would make you feel better.

You know she can make you feel better like no one else.

You call Y/N.

She excitedly answers with hi hun.

You couldn't be happy like your normal self.

You reply with a half hearted hi.

You hear Y/N's voice it sounds full of worry for you.

She asks what's up, you sound dejected.

You sigh heavily saying work let you go today.

She practically shouts into the phone what.

You tell her honestly you don't know what to do, they just came up to you and said you no longer work here.

You can't hold it in anymore you end up breaking down on the phone.

It was just too much.

You held it in for so long, the stress, the worry, and just everything else that came with that job.

You knew Y/N would worry about you, but there wasn't anything you could do about it.

She would find out eventually you were out of a job, so instead of leaving the subject alone you bought it up to be honest.

All you ever wanted to be with her is honest anyway.

Y/N mentions that you can get through this together with her, she will come see you when she can, and she knows her parents will help out if need be.

You say you know, but you are still processing how you are going to get through this when you have no income.

She reminds you can always go back to the sandwich shop if you need to.

You know that but it's not quite something you want to do.

You were happy to leave the sandwich shop you wouldn't want to go back.

Sure it was easy because you knew the ends and outs of the shop like the back of your hand now, but it still was working in a customer service job.

Dealing with customers could be fun and yet annoying.

You reply with you will try to find a new job, but you promise if it takes too long you will go back to the sandwich shop.

You tell her honestly you are glad to have her by your side, you don't know what you would do without her.

She is your rock, your anchor, she is what holds you together sometimes when the going gets tough.

Y/N is your everything and you need her dearly.

Y/N says she is happy to be there for you, there isn't anywhere else she would rather be.

You want to talk to her more and have her comfort you more, but you need to start your search for a new job.

It can take awhile to find a job you want to apply to, let alone getting an interview and then getting hired.

You might as start now.

You utter that you have to go to start your search for a new job, and that you love her.

She responds with she loves you too, and is here for you if you need her.

You tell her you know but thanks for reminding you, bye babe.

You feel somewhat better after talking to Y/N but you still needed to resolve your problem of not having a job or income.

She says bye hun.

You start to diligently look for a job.

You try almost anything hoping you won't have to resort to going back to the sandwich shop.

Y/N comes to visit you most weekends, you enjoy your time with her.

Unfortunately you couldn't give her the world like you used to.

You had to worry about money, sure you enjoy just spending time with her but you love just buying her little things to show your love in that way as well.

You start to feel somewhat inadequate around her, you know she loves you with all her heart.

But the nagging feeling of you wouldn't be able to provide for her if you were married right now, it slightly kills you.

You want to protect, provide, and just give her the world and you can't.

You feel less of a man.

You now feel constantly stressed from having no job and a little depressed.

You visit your friend's house a lot, they feed you willingly and let you use their internet.

You would be hungry and stuck at the library everyday if they weren't so helpful.

You are very grateful for them.

They are literal lifesavers for you.

Three weeks go by and you haven't gotten a job and it doesn't seem like you will get one soon.

You have to go back to the sandwich shop, it was your only option right now.

You weren't happy about it but still you need money till you find a better job.

You go three months till you find a new job.

You have to call Y/N you are so excited to finally get a job.

You call her shouting about getting a job.

She asks where you are working.

You answer with at a center for behavioral children.

You knew it would be hard work but you love children and want to help them.

Y/N tells you she is glad you got a job.

You reply with me too.

You are about to take to the people in charge about your new job.

You say that you have to go so you can talk to them about your new job, and you love her.

She utters love you too.

You finally have a job.

Everything seems to be getting better, your mood is happier than you have been in months.

It was nice to feel like someone was willing to hire you and need your skills.

You were starting to think no one wanted you or was willing to hire you.

But things are looking up, you can get through this and be the man you want to be again for Y/N.

A supportive, protective man, a provider, and just a man that gives her the whole world that she deserves.

She is the most amazing woman, you are lucky to share your life with, let alone share the same space and breath the same air with.

She is your everything.
