Chapter 24

Taehyung POV

Holidays were only a week and a half away.

It was finally time to tell Y/N!!!

You were so excited she was coming with you on the trip.

She would finally get to meet your family in person.

You knew they would love her, what wasn't to love about her.

She was perfect in your eyes.

You went to Y/N's room with your white envelope.

You had written what was going to happen in a letter that was inside.

You were so excited to give it to her.

You see her door open so you peek around the corner.

She is just sitting alone chilling in her room on the futon.

She looks up and smiles when she sees you.

She comes and hugs you.

You wrap your arms around her in a hug after you release one arm then gently guide her to the futon.

You hand her the white envelope.

She seems confused on what to do, or maybe she is in slight shock as well.

You tell her it's an early present, now open it.

She opens it greedily.

Jeeze she must really want to know what's inside.

You try to stifle your laugh.

You see her start reading.

You remember what you wrote quoting it in your head.

[Dear Y/N,

I know it will be hard to be away from each

other during this upcoming holiday season.

But I have a surprise for you. I have asked my

parents and yours and they have told me it's ok

if I bring you with me. You and I are going to

drive to my parents and spend the holidays

with them. I have it all planned out, so don't

worry. I know it's in your nature, but trust me

it's all taken care of. You will get to enjoy the

holidays by my side. I don't know if I can

spend another holiday season without you near

me. It might actually kill me!!! Let's enjoy our

time together. I love you dearly.

Once she is done reading she jumps up asking are you serious.

You utter yes Y/N gets to spend the holidays with you.

She looks so excited until you start to notice the worry lines set in on her forehead.

Oh no, what is she worrying about now?!

She asks do you think they will like her.

It takes you a second to process before you realize she is worried about meeting your family.

You want to laugh at how cute she is being but you know it won't help the situation right now.

So you just smile and tell her don't worry, they are going to love her.

You gently cup her face in your hands as you kiss her forehead.

Y/N mumbles are you sure.

You sigh, when is she going to get it through her thick skull that she is an amazing woman and anyone would be lucky to have her let alone meet her.

You state yes, they would be crazy if they didn't.

You can tell she is more relaxed but she is still slightly worrying.

This girl!!!

What are you to do with her, she always seems to have to worry about something.

She hugs and kisses you.

The week and a half go by so quickly, it was finally time to leave.

Everything was packed and in the car.

You set out early, like you always do for trips.

You hoped to make it half way before you had to stay the night somewhere.

You decided to drive.

You end up talking with Y/N, jamming out to music or listening to Harry Potter audio books.

You loved listening to the books on trips it was a tradition of your family's ever since they came out.

The scenery wasn't too bad you had seen it a couple of times when you had to drive home on occasion, it was pretty yet the same.

You eventually made it to the hotel you were going to stay at, you grabbed your stuff and went to the office to check in.

You had gotten a room with two beds at least, you were still a poor college student you couldn't really afford two rooms so it was the next best thing.

You got the key and headed to the room.

Everyone told you to be careful they are people who burglarize cars in the area.

Great just what Y/N needs something to worry about!!!

Well you know she won't sleep well till the most important things are in the hotel room.

You and Y/N grab a few more things from the car.

But sleep didn't really come for either of you.

Your neighbors were loud all night, and sounded like they were having a good time in a way you weren't not to happy to hear.

You thought about doing something but would it be worth it?!

Neither of you did anything but woke up tired and cranky instead.

You checked out, Y/N told the front desk about your loud neighbors.

You put all the luggage into the car again, and set off.

You drove, you wanted to show your father you could drive and drive the whole distance by yourself and drive it well.

Your father didn't think you could do it.

This drive was more country and less cities.

You were used to seeing the same view for long periods at a time.

You finally made it to your parents' house.

You both grabbed everything from the car and put it in your sister's room.

That was where Y/N would sleep.

You and your sister would sleep on the couches in the living room.

Your sister was a sweetheart and gladly accepted that, you didn't mind it's not the first couch you had to sleep on.

Y/N's comfort was more important and came first anyway.

You introduced her to the family, mom, dad, your sister and grandma and grandpa.

They all loved her of course.

Your mother right away started talking to her and doting on her.

You were extremely happy to be here with Y/N and to be with your family ultimately.

You were finally going to change both your lives in a couple of days.

You were excited and nervous at the same time.

What would she say?!!!
