Chapter 5

Y/N POV

You pull his face in closer to yours, barely inches away from yours and press your lips into his.

It was just a small peck to show him your answer was yes.

You really had fallen in love with Taehyung and his words.

He was more than you deserved.

You finally pull away and look into his eyes, he looks so surprised, maybe he was still processing that you had kissed him.

After a little bit he cups your face bringing his face down to yours gently kissing your lips.

You begin to kiss him back as you feel his smile against your lips.

You can't help but smile as well.

You both kissed for a couple of minutes, suddenly he pulls away.

You feel shocked until he stupidly asks "So is that a yes, are we dating?"

"No I kiss all my male friends like that, yes of course we are Taehyung, yes with all my heart," you tease him with your words.

You smile so widely that you feel your face will hurt.

As you see Taehyung's beautiful boxy grin.

You cuddle into him, as he wraps his arms around you.

You mention "What do you think the boys will say or any of our sci fi members, I mean they have been saying this would happen for almost a full year?"

"Hmm...probably will be excited, let's not tell them and see if they figure it out," he replies.

Then you both burst into laughter thinking about how the others will react.

"Ok, deal," you say, "How long do you think it will take them?"

He states "Who knows."

He shrugs.

You end up falling asleep in his arms.

The next day you end up not telling anyone like you both said.

But you end up walking a little closer together than normal and holding hands under the lunch table.

He sometimes puts his arm around you.

Some sci fi and the boys are suspicious but no one says anything.

About three days later people finally ask if you are dating, to which you both say yes.

Most congratulate you and Taehyung, say it's about time or squeal with glee.

Eventually Taehyung asks if you want to go to the movie playing on campus, to which you reply with yes.

It's your first date with him and you are feeling nervous, even though it's almost stupid to be.

You have been friends for a year already, you know him so well and he knows you.

But this is different somehow.

You end up searching through your clothes thinking there is nothing to wear.

Your old roomies end up helping you pick out an outfit.

You found a maroon skirt to pair with the rest of your outfit.

It was simple but that's the way you like it.

You did your make up which you almost never do unless it's a special occasion.

Again you went simple with foundation, a little blush, a pale sparkling pink eyeshadow, mascara and a faint maroon lip stick.

You had the girls help curl your hair you knew he liked it best down but especially loved it when it was curled.

You hardly ever had time for it though.

Time flew by as it got nearer to the time of the date.

You waited impatiently on the futon for Taehyung to show up.

You heard a knock on the door and went to open it.

Taehyung was standing there looking as handsome as ever.

He seemed to try pretty hard with his outfit as well.

It was a simple outfit as well but you couldn't help but stare at how attractive he was in those clothes.

You finally look up in his face after checking him out, his glance moves up to look into your eyes as well.

You blush after realizing he was checking you out too.

He blushes too.

He eventually regains his composure holding out a bouquet of pink roses.

You gladly take them smelling how beautiful they are.

You tell him thanks.

He states that you look beautiful.

The words make your heart flutter.

The girls interrupt by Sunyoung clearing her throat.

Oh shit!!!

You forgot they were here that's quite embarrassing.

They all coo over your reactions to each other and how shy Taehyung just got after seeing the girls.

You couldn't help but smile at his cuteness.

They tell you to stand there and they would take pictures of you two.

You roll your eyes feeling like the girls are trying to be parents who are taking pictures before prom.

You both willingly stand while pictures are taken.

They eventually let you leave.

You head to the movie holding hands.

You end up watching Ted, you both laugh and greatly enjoy the movie.

After the movie Taehyung asks if you want ice cream with which you say yes to.

He replies with good because it was a free campus movie and I don't want to make this a cheap date.

You giggle.

You both head to the ice cream store.

You both get your normal, his large vanilla and your large twist cone.

Like always he pays and you decide not to argue about it tonight, which seems to surprise him a bit.

He mentions it.

You tell him he is the man, which causes him to reply with oh now I'm a man.

You can't help but smirk at him.

You kiss his cheek, causing him to turn slightly pink.

You both sit in his car to eat.

Once you are finished he asks if he can call his mom.

You wonder what is going to happen?
