**Lyla's pov.**

It's been six weeks, since I stayed the night at Andy's.
We had, one week left of school.
And it just had to be the week, I caught a stomach bug.
The moment, Monday hit.
I was throwing up.
I also haven't had my period, which according to some of the girls at school.
Its normal.

It didn't stop my stomach, from killing me, almost every other morning.
I wanted to get a doctors appointment, but was scared, it was something serious.
Plus, my parents would be concerned.
Along with my boyfriend.
I mean, I would feel pretty comfortable if Andy went with me, to see what was wrong.

And that's what we did.

"You have nothing to worry about." Andy reassured me, his hand holding mine.
I felt at ease, sitting in the waiting room.
"Its our last week, as seniors and I'm at the hospital." I murmured with a frown.
Andy smiled softly.
"It could of been something, you ate?" He suggested.
I glanced to him.
"Maybe.. but missing my period, has also been bothering me." I confessed.

Andy arched a brow.
"I forgot, you have those. Maybe you could ask the doctor, to see if they can fix that as well?" He told me.
I shrugged.
"Maybe."

"Ms.Thorn?" A nurse called out into the room.
I stood to my feet, Andy's hand not leaving mine.

The nurse greeted me with a smile.
"How are we feeling, today Ms.Thorn?" She asked me.
I frowned softly.
"I want to say, its a stomach bug.. I've been throwing up, every other morning. I've also missed my period." I informed her, for her to write down.

The nurse looked at us, for the longest minute.
I watched something, click in her eyes, before she wrote that down.
"Alright, Ms.Thorn. If I could just check your weight, and height." She began.
I nodded, letting Andy's hand go.

The nurse wrote the information down, before smiling at us.
"Alright, just follow me and I'll bring you into a room to wait for the doctor." She told us.
We both nodded, following her out and into a room.

"It should only be a few minutes." She said before leaving the two of us alone.
My eyes fell on Andy.
"What if its not a stomach bug?" I asked him.
Andy looked to me.
"We're in this together, whatever it is. I'm at your side, one hundred percent." He promised me.
I nodded, smiling softly.

"Good afternoon, Ms.Thorn. I am Dr.Moore, what seems to be the problem today?" She asked me, her blonde hair in a bun, her blue eyes sparkling.
I re-informed her, what I told the nurse.
I watched Dr.Moore, look directly at Andy, then back to me.

"Are you the boyfriend?" She asked him.
Andy nodded, his hand taking mine.
Dr.Moore nodded.
"I see, so then I assume, you're both sexually active?" She asked.
Which earned deep blushes, from both of us, before nodding.

Dr.Moore smiled now.
"Lyla, can you come with me? I need to run a test on you." She told me.
Feeling nervous now, I looked to Andy for reassurance who smiled at me.
"I'm sure it'll be fine." He said.
I nodded, following after her.

We both walked inside of a bathroom.
"All I need you to do, is pee on the stick for me." She explained.
I recognized the symbol on the stick, immediately.
A pregnancy test.
Heat rushed to my cheeks.

The doctor stepped out, trying to remain calm.
I did as told, peeing on it. I placed it in the cup, before stepping out.
Dr.Moore smiled at me.
"You can just wait in the room, this should only take thirty to forty five minutes." She explained as I nodded.

I walked back into the room.
Andy stood to his feet, his brows furrowed.
"Is everything okay?" He asked me.
I shrugged softly.
Before I knew it, tears were falling.
Was I ready for the results?
What happens, if I am pregnant?
Can I even raise a kid?
My heart started pounding, hard against my chest.

"Lyla??" Andy asked, bringing me out of thought.
His face was morphed with confusion and concern.
I frowned, looking down.

"We're waiting on the results, to find out if I'm pregnant or not." I told him now.
"What..?" Andy asked, fear in his tone.
More tears swelled, before rolling down my now hot cheeks.
"I'm so sorry Andy." I cried.

"Whoa, babe. What are you sorry for?" He asked, gently grabbing my shoulders.
I looked up at him, my brows furrowed.
"What happens if I am?" I asked him.
Andy looked me dead in the eyes.
"If you are pregnant, I want us to get married." He told me.
My eyes widened as tears fell.
"You what..?" I asked, in full shock.

Andy's cheeks were dark.
"We've been dating for a year and a half, sure getting married is a huge step; not to mention.. pretty fast, but." His grayish blue eyes met mine.
"I don't want to lose you, we're only eighteen.. but, if you're pregnant. I want to be there, every step of the way. Getting married, is the only way. We don't have to get married, in the next month. We could wait, until after the baby is born.."
His eyes fell from me, then onto the tiled floor.

"I am terrified to be a father, but I don't want to give this kid up and I am against you aborting it. If starting a family, takes away parties and going places. Then so be it." Andy got down on one knee, his hands not leaving mine.

"Lyla Nicole Thorn, I have loved you, ever since you showed me that pretty cool worm; in kindergarten." He said with a wink.
I smiled brightly, tears falling now.
Andy kissed my knuckles.
"I have never stopped loving you, and I never will. I want to raise this kid with you, I want to be there, for their first step; their first word.. I want to be a dad, and I want to be your husband. If you'll let me." He said.

Fixing to respond, I turned to the door that opened.
Dr.Moore stood there, clipboard in hand.

"I have the results." She told me.
Andy stood up, his hand tightened around mine.
I squeezed his.
Dr.Moore looked at us.

"Ms.Thorn, the results came back, positive. You are pregnant." She told us.
I felt my whole world, spin.
There was another life, growing inside of me.
I was going to be a mom, a wife.
At eighteen or nineteen.

"Now then, I understand you're both young. So we have some options, we can go over them if you want-"
"We're keeping the baby." I found myself telling her.
Dr.Moore blinked, surprised.
"Oh, that is a surprise.. well, congratulations. You're going to be parents." She said with a smile.

I stood there, trembling before looking to Andy.
"Yes." I answered him.
Andy's eyes grew wide.
"Yes?" He asked me.
I nodded, tears slipping.

"I want you there, every step of the way, yes. I will marry you, Andrew Lee Vega." I told him.
He stood there, speechless.
Soon enough, a large smile appeared on his face.
Before pressing his lips to mine.
"We're going to be a family." He grinned, his forehead pressing to mine.
I smiled softly.
"We are." I agreed.

Our next step, was to tell our parents.
Which was only making me a nervous wreck.
The fact, I was pregnant.
Excited me, but scared me.
I had no idea, who was going to support us, and who wasn't.

We went to Andy's first.
I felt more calm, going to them first.
We were fixing to be family.
They deserved to know.

Zayne, Mr. and Mrs.Vega, sat on the couch across from us as we stood, in front of them.

Chelsie looked to me concerned.
"What's going on? You asked to speak with all of us?" She asked.
I looked to Andy, taking his hand.
I looked at Chelsie.

"You're going to be, grandparents." I told them.
Zayne's eyes widened.
Mr. and Mrs.Vega sat there, the same expression as Zayne's now.

"You're pregnant?" Chelsie asked me.
I nodded.
"Wow, and here I thought. You were smarter than that." Zayne stated.
My eyes widened.
"Shut up, Zayne." Andy hissed now.
Zayne glared.
"Are you kidding me? You're freaking teenagers, throwing your lives away, for a kid? You're both idiots." He spat, standing up.

"Zayne, that is enough." Mr.Vega hissed, before looking to us.
"What is the plan, kids?" He asked us, calm.
I looked at Andy, then to them.
"We're going the keep the baby." I said now.
"I can't deal with this stupidity, I thought you were both smarter than this." Zayne hissed before storming off.

Chelsie walked up to me.
"You have mine and Derek's support, whatever you need sweetie. We will get it for you, okay?" She told me.
I nodded, trying to swallow and fight back tears.
Mrs.Vega smiled softly.
"Don't worry about Zayne, he'll get over it. This is amazing news, you're going to be parents." She beamed.

I looked to Andy, I guessed telling them, we were getting married; was going to be too much.

The next house, was my parents.
There was so much, unwanted tension in the room.

We were all in the kitchen.
Dad was already scowling, as if he knew.
Lydia's face was buried in her phone.

"Pregnant, huh?" Dad asked.
My brows furrowed.

"Daddy, just let me explai-"
"Lyla." Mom cut me off, her expression held disappointment.
Tears swelled then fell.

My dad crossed his arms.
"Are you going to be stupid, and kill it or be a grown up and raise it?" He asked me.
I stood there, frowning softly.
"We were going to raise them.. we were going to be parents, and start a family." I told him.

Dad walked up to me, his eyes fell on Andy.
"Come here, Andrew." He told the other.

Andy flinched at the sound of his name, coming out of someone else's mouth.
"Yes sir." He walked over to us.

Dad's hands, fell on my left shoulder and Andy's right.
His eyes pierced into us.
"I am proud of your choice, but I am still upset. That you're pregnant, at such a young age..." He looked at Andy now.
"What are your intentions, knowing my daughter is carrying your child? Are you going to be a man, and stay true to her? Or are you going to be a coward, and run for the hills?" He asked.

Andy looked to me.
"I was going to ask for your blessings, to marry her." He said.
My dads eyes grew wide with shock.
As did my mom and Lydia's now.

Dad stepped back from us, his arms crossed now.
"You want to marry her, because she's pregnant?" He asked him.
Andy glared softly.
"I would of asked her, years from now. I love your daughter, with all of my heart. I want to be there for her, I wouldn't ask to marry her, if I wasn't in love. Lyla is the love of my life." He confessed.

Dad arched a brow, grinning softly, before looking to my mom.
"What do you think?" He asked her.
Mom walked over to us.
"I was pregnant with two beautiful girls, at nineteen. I don't see why not, Andy is more of a man than you were." She teased our dad.

I arched a brow.
Mom smiled softly.
"Your dad was scared to marry me, because of my dad. He waited months, before asking him." She told us.

My eyes fell on Andy now.

"Do we have your blessings?" I asked now.
My parents gave us a nod.

"I'm going to be a aunt, and becoming someone's sister n law!" Lydia beamed.
Jesse grinned.
"Me too!" He boasted, earning us to laugh.

Our final week as seniors, ended way too fast.
Tears were shared, and hats were thrown.
We were graduates of Siberian High.
