Chapter 31

I was finishing the final touches to my makeup in my mirror as I heard the door open that led into our bedroom.
"Clara! Hurry up they're going to be here soon." Shawn shouted through the wall knocking slightly on it.
"Coming." He replied. I looked myself up and down in my red lace tight skin dress and make sure my eyelashes were glued on securely before being happy with my appearance.
I opened up the door with my heels clacking against the floor and I saw Shawn's back to me as he stood by the window in his black jeans and a blue button up shirt with some yellow patterns printed on it. He turned round to look at me as I admired him leaning against the door frame.
Shawn smirked as he walked towards me and immediately snuck his hands round my waist pulling me into his body.
"Easy tiger." I remarked looking up at him.
"How am I going to last a whole night with you looking as gorgeous as this?" Shawn said leaning in closer to my lips.
"I don't know but your going to. Do you want to know what else we're going to do?" I whispered seductively teasing him.
"What?" He whispered inches away from my lips.
"Not kiss." I said quickly dodging his lips and ducking under his arm to be behind him.
"That's impossible!" He cried.
"At least for another ten minutes." I said as he came back up to me. "I need my lipstick to set."
"Aren't you going to wipe it off anyway?" He asked.
"Not the point Mendes." I tilted my head as my hands came together behind his neck.
"Everyone's going to be jealous of my girl." He whispered placing his forehead against mine as a sign of affection.
"They're all going to be jealous of you." I whispered back.
"Yes they will." He said leaning back to face me. "Because I get to be with you." He said and slowly placing a kiss on my forehead.
Our moment was cut short as the doorbell rang and Shawn and I walked out the bedroom together to answer it.
"Happy Birthday dude!" A tanned and lean boy said as a girl stood by him in a dress and heels.
"Thanks Matt!" Shawn said and they bro hugged.
"Matt, this is Clara. Clara, matt. And this is matts girlfriend Amy." Shawn introduced me and I greeted both of them as they came through the door.
Shawn was in deep conversation as I heard the door go again and I went over to open it.
"Clara!" It was Aaliyah, Karen and Manny.
"There's my favourite member of the Mendes family!" I smiled and slightly bent down to hug her.
"You look stunning!" She smiled up at me admitting my dress and makeup.
"As do you sweetie." I replied and she ran past me to greet Shawn.
"Clara." Karen turned my attention back towards the door and she had had arms open wide. "You look beautiful." She smiled.
"Thank you." I said coming back out of the hug. "You always look camera ready!" I complimented her.
"Don't you dare let Shawn ruin your art work!" She said walking towards her son.
"Manny, looking very smart this afternoon." I smiled.
"Had to make an effort didn't I." He chuckled giving me a hug. "You look very nice." He said as I closed the door and I thanked him as we walked over to Shawn.
I stood watching Shawn as everyone crowded round him when the door went again and my heels clicked in a rhythm as I walked over again.
"Happy-" about six boys were the other side and stopped when they saw me, I immediately recognised them all and they recognised me. Before I could say anything I was softly rugby tackled to the floor by the four Magcon boys I had met a while ago.
"Aaron get off of me!" I said thumping his shoulder.
"We missed you!" Jack G said.
"I did until you did that to me!" I laughed and hugged all of them in turn.
"Shawn's girl brushes up nicely." Cameron winked into our hug and I smiled back at him. "How's your girlfriend Cam?" I asked.
"Good, were really hitting it off." He smiled back.
Five boys walked off until it was just one left.
"You look good tonight." Taylor said to me as he eye stripped me.
"Thanks." I said awkwardly.
"Taylor." Shawn came next to me, his arm immediately grabbing my waist and pulling me into him. "Thanks for coming man."
"Nah I didn't come for you, I came for Clara." Taylor said and let out a chuckle as he hit Shawn on the back joining the other guys.
Shawn watched as he walked away before turning to me.
"Stay away from him. Ok?" He said bringing both hands to my cheek.
"I can't Shawn, there's limited amounts of places we can go, we are in your condo." I said.
"This apartment is much mine as it is yours now, if he tries anything go to the bedroom and text me."
"Just promise me one thing." I looked into his eyes.
"Anything." Shawn nodded.
"Don't let him ruin your night."
"He won't."
