"It's time to come home."
"I want to stay. Please just let me stay."
"Don't make a scene, Winter. Not here. Get in the car."
"Don't touch me."
"Get. In. The car."

"Do you really think this is a good idea?" Yoongi questioned.

"I don't know." Hoseok leaned back against the wall, scanning every person as they came through the glass doors leading into the airport.

They had been waiting for an hour, having gotten there early so they wouldn't miss her. Something still wasn't sitting right with Hoseok. As nice as her father sounded on the phone, he still knew something was wrong.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity of waiting in doubt, the doors slid open, and a burly man with greying hair and gruff features came in, one large hand wrapped tightly around a much smaller arm.

Winter staggered along behind him, the empty, lifeless look darkening her eyes again. There were dried streaks under her eyes from where she had probably been crying.

The man was dressed like he was rather wealthy, with a gold watch on his wrist and some rings that seemed expensive.

Hoseok pushed off of the wall, but he didn't make a move for her just yet. It would be better, he decided, if he could convince her to sneak away, so they could all disappear without leaving any clues behind for her father to use to find her.

"What if she was lying?" Yoongi sighed. "You said he sounded nice. The girl isn't all there, Hobi. I know you like her, but--"

"Yoongi hyung, please be quiet," Hoseok said as gently as possible, then pointed at Winter and her father to get his attention in the right place.

Winter noticed him, standing beside a frowning blond Yoongi, and her eyes widened a bit. She glanced at her father, then over to Hoseok again.

Her feet planted, her free hand coming up to grab her dad's hand in an attempt to pry it off. Hoseok ducked behind the nearest wall, but leaned around to keep an eye on them. Yoongi stayed where he was, determined to find out if they were doing the right thing by being there.

When her father turned back to her, he showed Yoongi more than enough to convince him that Hoseok had been right all along.

Her father grabbed her small face in his hands, leaning down to say something to her that he didn't want anyone else to hear. The close proximity of his face to hers made Yoongi uneasy instantly.

After saying what he needed to, her father leaned back, grabbed her by her upper arm, then began to drag her again. Yoongi was sure she was much too old for him to be manhandling like that. It irritated him.

He started forward without thinking, and he planted himself in the way, which caused her distracted father to run directly into him.

"Oh, sorry," her father muttered. Yoongi dipped his head in a half-hearted bow, then tilted his head to the side.

"Do I know you?" He questioned. Winter stared at him in confusion from behind her father, but she was quickly distracted when she heard Hoseok whistling from his place behind the wall. Yoongi understood his plan.
