"She's going to be fine, Hana."
"I want to see her."
"You need rest, too. I'll be down to visit soon. Okay? I'll update you then."
"Okay, Namjoon."

It was a little ironic, to end up in quite a similar position as they began. Hoseok sat by her hospital bed, this time accompanied by Jin, Yoongi, Taehyung, and Jimin.

Namjoon and Jungkook had been there, too, but both went downstairs to visit Hana in her room.

Winter had been sleeping. The doctors wanted to monitor her for just a little bit before sending her home. She had, after all, stopped breathing entirely for a short while back at the hotel.

Not long after Jin miraculously managed to revive her, she fainted again. Yoongi quickly scooped her up in his arms like a small child, and he rushed her to the hospital with Jin.

Hoseok, Namjoon, and Taehyung stayed behind to wait for the police. They held her father down, struggling against all his attempts to squirm away and flee.

Luckily, the police arrived rather quickly, and the distraught man was arrested. They offered to call someone to treat Hoseok's injuries, but he declined politely. His only concern was Winter anyways.

Once her father was taken care of, the three boys rode together to the hospital to meet Jin and Yoongi.

After what felt like an eternity, Winter came back to the realm of the living. She sat upright, almost in a panicked sort of way. Both Hoseok and Yoongi leapt up from their chairs to put their hands on her shoulders.

"Careful," Hoseok urged her. When she looked up at him, there was an overwhelming sadness in her eyes.

"I'm so sorry." Her hand lifted to Hoseok's cheek, fingertips brushing over the bruise beneath his eye carefully. There was also a small cut on his eyebrow above, and a scab in the left corner of his mouth where his lip split open.

"Why are you apologizing?" Hoseok frowned. "Winter, we almost lost you. This was just a small price to pay to bring you back to us."

"I remember some of it," she sighed heavily, dropping her hand into her lap and taking a look at the rest of the boys in the room.

Taehyung and Jimin were sitting in the corner on the floor. Jimin had toppled over, and his head rested on Taehyung's shoulder as they both slept soundly. It was relief to see them, all of them.

"You weren't breathing when we pulled you out," Jin explained. "Your father held you under the water too long before we could get there."

"Where is he?" Her dark eyes widened a little as if she suddenly remembered that he was a threat.

"In jail," Yoongi answered. "Where he belongs."

Winter's hands fidgeted with the blanket covering her legs, bunching and releasing the fabric over and over. Jin leaned forwards to rest a hand over hers to try to ease her anxiety.

"Everything is going to be okay now, Winter. He can't get to you anymore, and we'll be here, by your side. Always." He squeezed her small hand with his, and his words seemed to calm her at least a little bit. Her fingers uncurled and released the blanket.
