"He really said that?"
"Yes, Winnie! I can't believe it. Should I say it back?"
"Do you love him, too?"
"Of course. How could I not? Namjoon is... everything I ever wanted."
"So say it, Hana. Say it if you mean it."
"I will!"***
Winter twirled in her new pretty black dress, the skirt of it lifting and twisting around her smooth legs with her movements.
Yoongi laid in the bed behind her, wearing nothing more than a pair of boxer briefs, his head propped up on his hand so he could watch her.
He admired the way the black lace at the top of the dress accentuated her breasts and adorned her slender shoulders. More than anything, it was the exposed skin of her creamy thighs that attracted his eye.
"Yoongi," she suddenly frowned through the mirror. He lifted his gaze from his legs, then pushed himself upright.
"Yes?"
"You did this on purpose, didn't you?" She accused, turning and sweeping her raven hair to one side, exposing her neck to him. He was finally able to see what she was pouting over.
Just under her jaw, on the soft pale skin of her throat, there was a dark reddish mark that he left on her the night before. Yoongi ran his tongue across his bottom lip and smirked.
"No. Of course not," he lied, leaning back against his pillow that was propped up against the headboard.
"I thought we were past this," she whined, walking over to where he laid. She flopped down onto him, causing him to let out a shallow breath with the impact.
"I've been good," Yoongi argued with a playful smile. He wrapped his arms around her lower back and held her tightly against his chest.
"I didn't complain a bit when you were sore for three days after Hoseok got ahold of you. Nor did I complain when Jin took you away for the weekend."
"What am I going to do with you?" She giggled, leaning up on her hands so she could press a soft kiss to his lips. "I suppose I don't mind the marks. They drive Hoseok crazy, and I kind of like it."
"See? We both get what we want in the end." Yoongi brushed her hair to the side again to admire the little stain he left on her skin. "I get to remind everyone, including your little diner buddies, that you're mine, and you get to work up Hoseok by showing it off."
"You're devious, and I love you," she rolled her eyes. Winter tried to slip away from him, but he tightened his grip on her and used it to flip her onto her back.
Yoongi hovered just above her, giving her a little bit of room so it was easy for her to breathe. He knew how panicked she could get if it felt like she couldn't breathe.
"Ya, you're going to hurry back, aren't you? Jin's making a special dinner tonight, since it's your birthday."
"I'll hurry," she smiled up at him, lifting her hand to run her fingers through his messy blond hair. "Hana just wants to take me to lunch and shop a little."
"Oh yeah?" Yoongi chuckled. "Well, when you see Hana, tell her she doesn't have to sneak in and out anymore. We all know she comes to stay with Namjoon. She should just start joining us for breakfast at this point."
"I'll tell her," Winter laughed. That sound of happiness that passed her lips brought Yoongi a joy he couldn't put into words.
She was a much happier person than she ever was before. There was no sense of impending doom, no tedious relationship with Death for her to fear.
