"Tell Winnie I'm glad she's okay."
"Will you be okay? Tell us if he keeps harassing you, Hana."
"Thank you, Namjoon, but I'm okay."
"We're going to figure something out. Ignore his calls until then."
"I will."***
Hoseok was anxious. He had grown increasingly impatient throughout the day. All he wanted was to get Winter alone, in his bed, so he could keep his word and give into the selfish desires he repressed for far too long.
Dinner was the worst. Winter sat between Jin and Yoongi, across from Hoseok. Jin kept one hand on her thigh most of the time, not that she seemed to mind it much. She went about her typical banter with the maknaes, specifically Taehyung.
Yoongi glanced at her occasionally, then at Hoseok. He could see the impatience in Hoseok's countenance, and in the way he stared across the table at Winter as she teased Jimin and Taehyung playfully. He didn't need to be a genius to know what was on Hoseok's mind.
Winter knew well enough herself. Even if he didn't notice her stealing brief looks in his direction, she could see that hunger in his eyes as he waited for dinner to be over.
"Jin oppa," she said in her melodic voice. "I'll help you clean up after dinner." She leaned into his shoulder. "Okay?"
"Sure, if you want," he smiled down at her. "You don't have to though, Winter. No one else does."
"I help sometimes," Jungkook complained.
"I try, but Jin hyung always chases me out of the kitchen," Taehyung shrugged his shoulders. "Which I guess isn't so bad considering he won't even let Namjoon hyung in the kitchen while he's cleaning it since he breaks everything."
"It's not like I mean to," Namjoon huffed, stuffing his face with noodles in an adorable pout.
"Winter," Hoseok called her name. "You promised to look over some lyrics for me," he lied, holding her gaze once she finally looked over at him.
"Did I?" She hummed, that cat like smirk of hers teasing at her lips. "It can wait, can't it? I like helping Jin oppa."
"You promised me first," Hoseok frowned. "I could really use your help, too. Jin hyung can cover the dishes or leave them for us to do later if he'd rather."
"Can't Namjoon or Yoongi oppa help you?" She tilted her head. Hoseok opened his mouth to protest again, but he snapped his jaws shut when he felt her foot brush along the inside of his thigh. Her smirk only grew. "Jin needs me."
"I need you," he nearly whined, hands gripping the edge of his seat as she added pressure to the space just below his zipper.
"Is it okay if I help him, Jin oppa?" She batted her pretty eyelashes up at Jin. He never really could tell her no.
"Of course. I'll get the maknaes to help me."
Hoseok let out a sigh of relief as her foot dropped away. Winter sat up quickly to press a kiss to Jin's cheek, which only added fuel to the fire burning deep within Hoseok.
"Thank you! I'll make it up to you later."
"Oh, he'd like that," Jimin teased her. Winter could have gotten shy about it, but instead she continued to play her part.
