Clarkes's POV:

"Mom, I can do this run with Octavia and Raven Bellamy doesn't need to come," Clarke tells her mother. "I just figured you'd be safer with him around, what if something happens-" "Mom, no. I'm going with Octavia and Raven and that's final." Abby just shrugs her shoulders. As she walks away she mumbles something under her breath but Clarke ignores it. Clarke walks out of the room and down the stairs to the bunks where they took in other survivors and let them sleep. They pretty much had a safe haven in this mess people call Earth. The world had been covered in flesh-eating monsters everyone calls walkers for almost a year now. No one really knows exactly how long it's been going on, no one can keep count. Clarke's group has been chased out of buildings they were staying in because of hoards, and lots of loved ones, friends, and guests have passed. Clarke's lucky to still have her mother and a few of her friends. Clarke reached the bottom floor of the building where Bellamy, Raven, and Octavia were waiting. "Did my mother send you?" Clarke sighed. "No, I just came to say goodbye." He said in a gruff voice. He leans in to hug Clarke and she wraps her arms around him to hug him back. "Alright, let's go," Clarke says after being released from Bellamy's arms. She takes a black radio from the table beside her and clips it to her belt to keep in contact with the rest of the group. Raven's a mechanic, so she's able to make radios and tons of other things if she has enough scrap metal. Clarke walks over to a door that leads over into the garage and walks inside, Raven and Octavia behind her.

"Clarke, why do you seem so upset?" Raven asks Clarke. She turns around and just stares at Raven. "Notice how Bellamy was there to say goodbye while we were about to leave but Finn wasn't," Clarke says angrily. "Well fuck him!" Octavia yells causing all three to laugh. The Earth may be a shit storm, but sometimes you need to laugh and have fun. It's how you survive. Clarke opened the driver's side door and sat down on the cushioned seat of the Rover to put the keys in the ignition. "Alright, so we're going to go on May Street, where all of the convenience stores are, then on to 5th Avenue where all of the big stores are, so we have to be ready to face walkers. And if we make it past that with nothing bad happening, we hit some liquor stores. What do you say, ladies?" Clarke asked. "Hell yeah," Raven says. Octavia takes the garage opener out of the glovebox and clicks a button to open the door. There are no walkers outside, thankfully. Clarke switches from parked to drive and presses down on the gas pedal and takes a right out of the driveway while Octavia closes the garage. They head down a maze of roads until they reach May Street. The three run in the first store with no problems and grabbed non-perishable food and anything else they thought to be useful and shoved it in their backpacks. The next store was a pharmacy, and there weren't a lot of medicines left but they took whatever they could find and went to the next store. There were a few walkers, but knives were plunged into their heads before the girls were even seen. They all piled into the car with jam-packed backpacks and headed to 5th avenue, each grabbing a new pack.

These stores weren't so easy to loot, there were a lot more walkers than other stores had. Knives were plunged into all of their heads almost making no sound to attract other walkers. They cleared out one store, grabbing extra clothes and a lot of other things that could help them like knives, flashlights, batteries, and candles with lighters. They cleared out two more stores and killed every single walker inside. Clarke came across a stand of digital watches with the time set already, so she took one and slipped it on her wrist. "You never know, maybe this could help us. Or maybe it could be a memory of me when I die," Clarke said. "Don't talk like that," Octavia told her sternly. "Alright, then let's get to the liquor stores if I can't talk I might as well be able to drink," Clarke laughed. She ran out to the car and jumped into the driver's seat and put the keys in the ignition. Octavia and Raven threw their packs in the back of the truck and ran to the doors of the truck and got in. Clarke drove as fast as she could to the liquor store on Maple Street because she couldn't wait to drink. It's like the alcohol let her get away from her problems and this waste of the world, and she wanted that. She pulled up to the store and jumped out of the car with knives in hand to kill any walkers that got in her way. She swung open the door to the store and strode in like she owned the place. Luckily there were no walkers inside so they barricaded the doors and decided to stay there for the night. It had gotten pretty late anyways.

Raven picked up the radio Clarke dropped to the floor when she took her belt off and told the others at the station that they were staying out for the night. As soon as Raven was done talking, Clarke yelled: "Let's get wasted!" But quietly enough so no one outside could hear her. Raven and Octavia just looked at her while she twisted the caps off of two bottles and started drinking. "Clarke, we're worried about you," Raven said looking at Clarke with a concerned look. "You drink so much alcohol that it could kill-" Raven was cut off by Clarke. "This helps me with everything. It's almost the only thing I care about anymore because no one cares about me I have no one to care about. I can get away from everything, just by drinking this." Clarke was so blind to everything. She had people who cared about her, she was shutting them out. She had an addiction to alcohol, and it needed to stop. She had a god damn boyfriend, but it was clear that he didn't care about her. He was never there for her. But her alcohol was.

Raven stood up and took the bottles away from Clarke. "You need to stop-" Raven was cut off by Clarke slapping her across the face. "What the fuck!" Octavia yelled, tearing Raven away from Clarke. Raven just stared at her. "You're a monster. You're no different than any of the walkers out there!" Raven yelled. It was starting to get so heated that they didn't hear the truck engine come roaring up to the building or the back door opening. There was a loud noise of a bottle of wine shattering, and the three girls looked up to see a brunette staring right back at them with a gun in her hands. "Put your hands up and drop your weapons!" She yelled at them with great power in her voice. Another woman and man stepped out from behind her wielding guns, and the three girls dropped their weapons and put their hands above their heads. "Listen, we don't want any trouble-" Clarke said. "Shut up! Please," The girl said. She looked to be about Clarke's age, was a brunette and had eyes the color of the forest. She was taller than Clarke just by a little bit and had a powerful stance. "The walkers outside could hear us," she said. The girl held three fingers up and the man and woman behind her walked up to Raven and Octavia, swiftly hitting them in the same spot knocking them out. The leader of the three walked up to Clarke, Clarke having a horrified look on her face. "And what's your name?" she asked. Clarke swallowed. Hard. Their faces were about an inch away and she was looking straight into her forest green eyes, and the other girl's into her sky blue eyes. "Clarke," she stuttered. The girl smiled at her, and Clarke felt something hit the side of her neck and she passed out.
