Lexa's POV~

"Why are they sleeping against the wall when we're in a hotel with actual beds?" I hear a voice ask, I'm still kind of groggy with sleep.

"I dont know but they're cute," Another one says.

My eyes flutter open, discovering Raven and Octavia sitting in front of us. When Raven's brown eyes meet my own, she has a slight look of panic.

"What are you guys doing?" I whisper, Clarke still asleep on my shoulder.

"We were waiting for you to actually wake up, and now that you're awake you should wake up Clarkey over there." she says pointing towards Clarke.

Her breathing is even, more still than ever. I take my hand, running it smoothly down her jaw. I place a kiss on her forehead, pulling back to meet those blue eyes.

"Good morning." I say with a smile.

"Good morning," her voice still coated with sleep.

She lifts her head off my shoulder, looking at Octavia and Raven with a confused expression.

"Why were you spying on us last night?" she asks pointedly.

"To make sure that if you were about to fuck we would be able to defend the hotel." Octavia says.

A blush takes over my cheeks, I can already tell how red my face probably is.

"What do you mean?" Clarke asks.

Before either of them can say anything, I whisper in her ear to explain it to her. It was really awkward to say something like that in her ear, but it made me feel really hot.

As soon as I finish speaking Clarke looks like she's about to kill either Octavia or Raven.

"Hey, don't look at me like that. It was her idea, not mine." Octavia says.

Of course this was Raven's idea, she's basically a psycopath sometimes but is also a genius.

Lauren walks into the room, stopping in front of the four of us. She looks at me, and I already know what she wants.

"I'll be right back," I say to Clarke, standing up to go with Lauren.

As soon as we get outside and out of sight of the windows, she throws herself at me. She wraps her arms around me, hugging me as tight as she could. I wrap my arms around her, rubbing circles on her back. I can feel her tears on my shoulder, and I can't help but feel bad.

"Hey, it's okay." I say sympathetically. She continues to cry, hugging me tighter.

"You're okay now, you're here. You're home." I say.

She eventually stops crying, sniffles still escaping here and there. She pulls away from me, and I hold on to her shoulders.

"Look at me, please." I ask.

She looks at me, her eyes red from the tears.

"I know this was hard for you, but I want you to tell me everything. Getting all of this off your chest could help you a lot more than you think."

She stays silent, so I continue to speak.

"Come on. Let's walk, and you can start talking when you feel up to it." I say quietly.

We walk for about 15 minutes and she finally starts to talk.

"I ran into the woods screaming at the hoard to follow me. I wanted to get them away from the rest of you to keep all of you safe. I was supposed to be leading all of you, and I knew that if any of you died it would be my fault." she says with a sniffle.
