     Clarke's POV

"Clarke, you should go talk to your mom, she obviously was worried about you," Raven told her. "She doesn't give a shit about me, no one does," Clarke said coldly. She ignored anything else her friends tried to say to her as she walked away to her bunk on the third floor. She walked up the stairs and opened the door to reveal a room with forest green walls and a wooden floor. The color scheme wasn't great, but Clarke enjoyed it. It gave a comforting feeling to her, and she would often just lay down and look at the wall she was so mesmerized by it, and it comforted her. When she couldn't have alcohol, this was its replacement. She walked over to a small filing cabinet and took out a lighter to light a few candles. It was almost night time, and they couldn't have the power on at night or it would attract everything. Not just walkers, but people, too. It seemed as if everyone was afraid of each other now, but Clarke had no problem with those people she'd just met a while ago even though they did kidnap her, they were alright. She took a sketchbook from the filing cabinet drawer and sat down on her bed with some charcoal and crayons. For some reason you couldn't even find much good art supplies in all of the stores there were around to loot. She began to draw an eye with the charcoal, putting in great detail. She colored the eye a forest green, like her bedroom walls. Like Lexa's eyes. Clarke finished drawing and put the sketchbook on the bedside table. She blew out the candles, walking over to her bed and laying down between the covers before blowing out the last candle next to her bed and drifting off to sleep.

It's been a few days since Clarke and the others were kidnapped, and nothing really interesting happened. Clarke couldn't stop thinking about Lexa. How could I see her again? Raven was able to tie into more traffic cams, closer to where the prison was so they could see what they were doing without them knowing. Clarke had an idea. She opened the door to her room and ran up the stairs to the 5th floor where Raven and her cameras were. "Raven!" Clarke panted. "What if we give the prison people's leader a walkie so we can keep in touch? It's not a bad idea since the people there aren't mean in the slightest," she said. Raven just looked at her and smirked. "You just want to see Lexa again," she said turning around and continuing whatever she was doing. Clarke just stood there and Raven could feel her stare on her back. "Fine, O and I will come with you, try not to get too excited." Raven winked at her and Clarke blushed. Clarke walked out of the room casually but once the door shut behind her she was so happy she almost screamed. She practically jumped down 3 flights of stairs to the 2nd floor where all of the guns, ammo, and walkies were. She ran over and grabbed one, and took a backpack to stuff with supplies. In a matter of minutes, Clarke ran all the way back up the stairs, bag in hands ready to leave. She burst through the door of the room, seeing Raven had not even moved. "I'm ready to go!" Clarke said. "You-you want to go now?" Raven asked. "Yes!" Clarke yelled. Raven simply picked up a walkie behind her and radioed for Octavia to report to the 5th floor as soon as possible, and to get ready for a short mission.

"Alright where we going ladies?" Octavia asked bursting through the doors. "Clarke wants to give the leader of the prison people a radio so we can communicate," Raven said winking at Octavia. Without words, somehow Octavia understood everything. "Ohhhh," Octavia said in a playful tone. "Let's go then," Clarke said and lead the two girls down the stairs. They never told anyone about the mission, it was just something to do. It wasn't as serious as a supply run so they figured they'd be fine. Clarke hopped into the truck and started it quickly. The other two girls got in, and Clarke started to drive as soon as they were inside, not even caring if their doors were closed or not. "I can see someone's a little excited," Octavia said. "A little?" Raven laughed. Clarke just sighed and kept her eyes on the road. She slowed down a little bit, not wanting their arrival to seem urgent. They arrived at the prison, and Lincoln came out opening the garage door, recognizing the truck. "Back so soon?" He asked as Clarke parked the car. "I need to speak with Lexa," Clarke said. Lincoln nodded and led them through a few doors, and Clarke told her that Lexa was in the next room over. Clarke knocked on the door and heard Lexa's voice. It was almost like she missed it. Clarke opened the door slowly and heard Lexa say her name in a surprised tone. She liked the way Lexa said her name, emphasizing the k. "Hey," Clarke said shyly. "You're back already? It's like I didn't even release you," Lexa laughed.

The sound of Lexa laughing made Clarke giggle, but she tried to hide it. She didn't quite know Lexa yet, so she couldn't have feelings for her. Impossible. "I'm here to give you this," Clarke said. "It'll help us keep in touch, and someone should always have this on their person. I will have one on myself at all times, and I'd suggest you'd keep this on you." She said handing Lexa the walkie. "If you ever need anything, you know what to do," Clarke said and smiled as she walked away. "Clarke," Lexa said causing her to turn around. "Thank you," she said in a shy tone. Clarke just nodded and smiled as she walked out the door to rejoin her friends. "Done," Clarke said. "Let's go home now." Lincoln led them back through the same maze of rooms and doors, all connecting to other rooms. They reached the garage once again, and while Raven and Clarke went to the car Octavia stayed back to talk to Lincoln for a few minutes. The two girls patiently waited for her, not wanting to rush their friend's conversation. A few minutes passed and Octavia strode back over to the truck with a huge grin on her face. "He wants me to visit," she said as Clarke started the car. "That's great!" Clarke said. "At least someone can be happy in this world," Clarke said with a blank expression. "So what were you talking about in there?" Octavia asked. "Nothing, I literally gave her the walkie and left," Clarke said. "Do you like her?" Raven questioned. No reply. "I can't 'like' anyone. I have no idea who she is, her past or anything. But I do like her laugh," she said with a smile.

They arrived back at the garage and Octavia opened it, revealing Bellamy. "Where did you go?" Bellamy asked with a concerned look plastered on his face. "We just went to give the leader of the prison people a radio in case they ever need to reach us," Clarke said. Bellamy nodded, a hint of confusion on his face but Clarke ignored it. She walked over to the door connecting the garage to the rest of the building and continued through it to the stairs. She stopped on the second floor to grab a walkie in case Lexa needed to reach them. She walked slowly up to her room, it somehow was already beginning to get dark even though it didn't seem like they were gone that long. She probably just woke up late. She changed into some more comfortable clothing and slipped in between the sheets and blankets of her bed, inspecting the walkie. She turned it on, expecting someone to be on the other end. Lexa to be on the other end. But there was silence. Clarke waited a while longer but eventually started to drift off to sleep. That's when she heard the sweet voice on the other end. She almost laughed out loud as the voice said her name. "Clarke? Are you awake?" Clarke just smiled to herself and pressed the button to talk to Lexa. "Yeah, is there something wrong?" Clarke asked, concerned. She released the button and Lexa's voice came through after a short moment of silence. "Yes, I know this is only supposed to be used for urgent or important cases, but I feel like you and your people are the only ones I can talk to without being treated special because I'm the leader,"  Lexa sighed. "That's alright, you can talk to me," Clarke said with a huge smile on her face. Lexa laughed through the walkie. "The thing is, I don't know what to talk about, I just can't clear my head enough to be able to sleep," she said. "So just tell me your thoughts. Or if you're not comfortable with telling me them, write them down. It always helps to get your thoughts down on paper if you can't actually tell them to people. Whenever I can't sleep, I almost try to draw my thoughts." Clarke told her. "I don't think I can tell you my thoughts, I mean I hardly know you, what if you're actually a psycho,"  Lexa laughed. "So let's get to know each other," Clarke said with a smirk even though Lexa couldn't see it.
