Clarke's POV

"Help!" Clarke screamed. She was in a room by herself that had a bed, and nothing else. Clarke was banging on the door continuously trying to get anyone else's attention to let her out. No one was coming for her, so she sat on the side of the bed to think. The only thing she could remember was slapping Raven and a brunette girl knocking her out. Who was that? Clarke tried to remember if she ever said her name but couldn't recall it happening. Shit. She slapped Raven. Clarke immediately regretted her decision of slapping Raven. She was her best friend, and she knew Clarke had a problem with alcohol, she was just trying to help. Clarke was brought out of her thoughts by someone knocking on the door. Was she supposed to say something? The girl with the brunette hair came into the room with a powerful and long stride with each step she took. The door closed behind her, and she leaned against the wall to look at Clarke. "So, Clarke, where are you and your two friends set up?" the girl asked. "How 'bout I get your name first," Clarke replied in a burning tone. The girl just laughed at Clarke, and she thought it was the most beautiful sound she'd ever heard. But she hardly knows this girl, she can't fall for her like that, plus she had a "boyfriend" if that's how you'd describe Finn. The other girl looked at Clarke again, her eyes staring deeply into her blue ones. "Where are you set up?" she asked again in a stern tone. "I'll answer that when I get your name," Clarke said smirking. "My name is Lexa if you must know." Damn. Clarke thought. Badass name. "We're set up on 98 Clark Street. Ironic name don't you think. Big parking garage, we take in people who are in need of help," Clarke said. Clarke just met Lexa but she felt she could trust her.

"You just gave me a lot of information that I could use for anything. Why?" Lexa asked. "You told me your name, you have to trust someone to tell them your name," Clarke replied. The brunette laughed, causing Clarke to smirk. "I honestly don't know why we kidnapped you, we were just frightened at the moment. We've never really had a run in with others like that." Lexa said. "We'll probably release you soon, as long as we know you won't try to come back for us. Will you?" Lexa asked in a concerned tone. "No, and that's a promise as long as you don't kidnap any of us again," Clarke said. Lexa nodded and opened the door to the cell and let Clarke walk out first. "After you," Lexa told Clarke. She walked out on to the tiled floor, she had no idea where she was. It was lit up, so she knew they had power. "What is this place?" Clarke asked. "We're actually set up not too far away from each other, I don't know how we had only just run into you after almost a year of all this," Lexa said. "So our place isn't far away?" Clarke questioned. "Nope, you just need to pretty much walk around a little bit and you'll be here, but we have tough security. I'm the leader of this place, the people rely on me for answers and I'm not exactly sure why they turn to me." Lexa told Clarke. She just nodded and Lexa lead her to her friends, who seemed to be unharmed and okay. "Oh thank god," Raven said when she saw Clarke. Octavia was right behind her, and she looked at the brunette standing next to her with a confused look.

"I can have someone drive you back to the liquor store, your truck is still there," Lexa told the three. "Thanks," Clarke smiled at the girl. She didn't even see Octavia and Raven smile as Clarke watched the girl in front of her walk away with her powerful stride. "I'm glad they weren't bad people, and that they're letting us go," Clarke turned and told the two. Octavia and Raven just grinned at Clarke like idiots. "What?" Clarke asked. "Nothing," a man and a woman walked up behind Clarke and introduced themselves. These were the two that were with Lexa at the liquor store. "I'm Lincoln, and this is Indra." He said gesturing to himself and the woman beside him. Clarke introduced herself and her two friends and Lincoln led them through a maze of different rooms until they reached a garage. He opened the door and held it for the girls to walk in. It was a very large garage filled with about 12 cars, much better than what Clarke's group had. But Clarke's group had Raven. She was able to tie them into the traffic cams and make radios so if she's not on missions with them, she's their eyes in the sky. The group had avoided many mishaps with walkers, and even other people because of Raven. She was almost like their savior. Clarke was just a natural born leader, and people looked to her for answers. Octavia was a warrior. She didn't fight with guns, she used knives and even had a katana back at the camp she would use for big runs or missions. Lincoln lead them over to a white car and opened the back door for them to get in. They filed in one by one, all looking at their surroundings in the car. You never know what could happen.

Lincoln closed the door once they were all inside, and Indra went to the passenger seat while Lincoln sat on the driver's side. He put the keys in the ignition and then the car into drive. The garage door in front of us began to open, and it was daytime outside. The brightness of the light blinded Clarke, and she noticed they were in a courtyard. "You guys are held up in a prison?" She asked. "Yeah, it's been safe ever since Lexa came here and fortified everything, and started to take in people like me and Indra. We're two of her most trusted companions, and without her, we'd probably both be dead." Indra just nodded at what Lincoln said. "I see you're not much of a talker," Clarke said gesturing to Indra. She just shook her head, not even looking at Clarke. The rest of the ride was quiet, and they reached the liquor store. The three girls hopped out of the car and went over to the truck. Or at least Clarke and Raven went to the truck. Octavia was talking to Lincoln through the driver's side window. The girls couldn't hear their conversation, but Octavia watched them pull out of the driveway and drive away, and came back to the other two girls grinning like an idiot. "You like him," was all that Clarke could get out. She felt happy for Octavia. You can't really have a lot of happiness in this life, everyone you love just dies. So Clarke didn't love anyone.

Clarke hopped into the driver's seat of the truck and started it. She couldn't stop thinking about Lexa, the brunette who liked to laugh. She drove back towards camp, and Octavia and Raven were talking about Lincoln. "What are you thinking about?" Octavia asked. "You look so happy, and you ignored the fact that there was still alcohol in that store. You didn't even ask to go back in and drink some more," Raven said. Clarke didn't answer, she just smiled and focused on the road. "Clarke, we know you like that girl, it was so obvious a blind person could see it. The way you looked at her and smiled as she walked away, it's so easy to tell," Octavia laughed. "Did you find out her name, who she is?" Raven asked on a more serious note. "Her name is Lexa, and that's all I needed to know," Clarke said beaming. They arrived back at the camp, plunging knives into a few walkers heads. "Clarke!" She heard Abby yell. "Where have you been? Let's get you inside!" "Mom, I'm fine." Clarke's mood instantly became upset. Abby was still shoving her into the building asking her questions. "Mom!" she yelled. "We ran into a few others and we went with them for a day and then came back. They took us in for the night and let us go. Now leave me alone." Clarke said sternly.  Her mother just released her from her grip and said one word. "Fine." She turned away from Clarke and walked to the garage door leading inside. Clarke and her mother had never had a good relationship, so she didn't really care. After all Clarke loved no one, and no one loved her.
