Clarke's POV

The two girls had talked to each other for a few hours, before Lexa being the one saying they should both get some sleep. For those few hours, it seemed as if the world was normal and there weren't flesh-eating dead people walking around trying to eat us. Clarke and Lexa had talked about things they liked, like their favorite colors or animal, or favorite thing to do. Lexa's favorite color was blue, and Clarke's green. Lexa told Clarke that she told everyone else her favorite animal was a wolf, but her real favorite animal was a raccoon. Clarke set down the walkie on the side table and turned over to face the wall. She imagined Lexa staring right back at her, but knew it was wrong. They were just friends who talked. A lot. Clarke closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep with a smile on her face. It barely seemed like she slept when she woke up only 3 hours later. She slowly got up out of bed, wishing she could sleep longer but she had to get up. They were going to be organizing the weapons and ammo again and taking a count of how much they had left. She slipped into a pair of blue jeans and put on a red and black flannel over her tank top, clipped the walkie to her belt after turning it on and turned to walk to the door. When she got downstairs, Bellamy and another guy named Murphy were already there. "Hey Clarke," they almost said in unison. Murphy's been with the group a long time, one of the first to be taken in. "Let's get started," Clarke said with a smile.

It had been two hours since they started, and they had just about finished. 364 bullets, 23 guns, 47 knives, and 7 katanas. A pretty good turnout since last time they checked. They never really used the guns, they were just there. They hadn't had to face any hoards or a large number of walkers, besides when the cleared out the building a long time ago. Clarke was leaving the room to go hang out with Raven just because she had nothing better to do. It was actually pretty interesting to watch all of the traffic cameras and stuff, so she liked going there. As she was on her way there, Lexa's voice came over the radio. "Clarke? I need to speak with you, now. Please tell me you're there," she almost begged. "I'm here, what's up?" she asked concerned. "Did you send someone out on a mission this morning?" Clarke thought for a moment. "No, did someone come by?" she asked. "We saw a car pass by the garage very slowly and saw a man and two women inside pointing guns at the garage. They didn't shoot, but it was enough to pass as a warning. I don't know if they know we're here, hell- I don't even know where the fuck they came from!" Lexa yelled. "Hey, it's okay," Clarke said. "No, it's not okay Clarke. Other people around here are hostile, not just the dead ones. Those people could come back with others. More people. More weapons. To kill us all," The radio went silent and Clarke ran to the camera room. "Raven! Check the cameras around the prison, now. If you see a truck with two men and women inside, please try to follow where they went-" "What the hell is going on?" Raven asked before Clarke could finish. "Raven please, I'll explain later!" Raven just turned to the screens in front of her, going through previous footage.

"There," Clarke said pointing at a red pickup truck with four people inside. "Can you follow it?" she asked. "Have you met me?" Raven smiled. Clarke backed up out of the room and spoke to Lexa. "Listen, we tied into the traffic cameras around the prison and we were able to find the truck that was driving by," Clarke said. "That's great," Lexa laughed. "Where did it go?" "We're still trying to figure that out, or at least Raven is. I'll get back to you when we know," Clarke told her clipping the walkie back to her belt. "Clarke wait," Clarke paused and took the walkie back off of her belt. "What is it?" Clarke asked. "Did they come by your place? Or is it safe there?" she asked obviously concerned. "I-I don't know, I'll ask Raven. I'll talk to you later," Clarke stuttered. She clipped the walkie back on to her belt and went back into the room with Raven. "Well?" Clarke asked. "Still following, could be a while," she said simply. "Tell me when it's done," she said gesturing to the walkie. Raven nodded and Clarke walked out of the room. She walked up the stairs to where her mother stayed, knocked before opening the door. "Clarke," she said simply. "Hey mom, I've been thinking lately, I should learn some of your medical expertise. We both know that you won't be here one day to help me stitch up my wounds or cleanse a cut," Clarke said. Abby just looked at her before replying. "Yeah, I'll teach you," Abby said simply. The next hour or so was spent with Abby telling her what to do in certain situations, how to clean cuts properly, doing stitches, and so on. Clarke already had a good idea of doctoring but not as much as Abby did. Clarke heard Raven radio for her to come down to the camera room, and said goodbye to her mother before leaving the room and walking down the stairs.

"So, can you tell if they know our location?" Clarke asked. "I was able to zoom in on their faces while passing the street, and it appears they had no idea. Didn't even glance at the street sign," Raven said causing Clarke to sigh in relief. But what about Lexa, I'm safe, but what about her? Clarke pondered for a few minutes before asking, "Where did they go?" Raven looked at her for a minute before saying, "I don't know, I couldn't reach the traffic cameras so I couldn't follow far. I probably got to the third traffic light from here and couldn't get any further," Raven said apologetically. Clarke sighed and unclipped the walkie from her belt. "Lexa?" she asked. "Well?" She replied quickly. "We couldn't follow them very far, and we could tell that they had no clue of our location, but I'm worried about you-your people. They looked pretty serious," Lexa sighs at the news although Clarke can't hear it. "At least your people are safe," Lexa said into the walkie. Clarke clipped the walkie back too her belt, not feeling in the mood to talk anymore. "Raven, we need to send people out on runs for more weapons and ammo immediately," Raven nodded to Clarke and radioed over the PA system asking anyone who wants to go on a run to report to the 2nd floor. Clarke went down the stairs to send the teams out, she wasn't going to go this time. She needed to stay on the walkie at all times in case something happened. When she reached the second floor, no one else was there yet. She waited for about 10 minutes and Bellamy, Murphy, Octavia, Kane, Miller, Harper, Bryan, Monroe, Raven, Monty, Jasper, and Finn came down.  "Alright, I'll split you into groups of three and please do not separate at any cost. Finn, Raven, Kane. Miller, Bryan, Octavia. Jasper, Monty, Harper. Bellamy, Murphy, and Monroe. Those are your groups, you'll mainly be looking for guns and ammo, take whatever you need and one person from each group takes a walkie. Communicate with each other and myself, as I'll be operating the radio here." Everyone nodded back at Clarke and the 12 of them separated to grab guns and other weapons. They all piled into vehicles and headed out.
