Clarke's POV
I wake up the next morning with Lexa's arms wrapped around me, her breathing steady. I slowly lift my head up, guiding my lips to pepper her jaw with kisses. Her eyes flutter open and she takes a deep breath. She looks at me and smiles spread across our faces.
"Good morning," I say in a husky tone due to just waking up.
"Good morning beautiful," she replies placing a soft kiss on my forehead.
Soon enough everyone starts to wake up, making plans for the day. Abby cleans up Lexa's wound and tells her she's allowed to walk but can't over do it. We decided everyone could pick a room but it had to be on the bottom floor. Bellamy, Lexa, Murphy, and Octavia are going on a supply run, and I'm sad to see Lexa leave.
Lexa walks over to me and kneels down, wincing a little bit.
"May we meet again," she says.
"We will." I assure her.
I pull her in for a short kiss and say goodbye and she walks out the door with the others.
Lexa's POV
"We need to split up so we can find more things, we've got a big group to feed and we need medication." Bellamy says.
"I'll go with Lexa, you guys can go together." Octavia says.
They both nod and turn to walk away.
Octavia and I go into multiple stores and homes finding a little bit of medicine and quite a bit of food. We shove any extra clothing and blankets we find into our backpacks and discover they're full and we aren't half way done with our section of buildings.
We're walking down the streets in silence on the way back until Octavia speaks up.
"Am I hallucinating, or does that say your name?" She points to a house with some letters spray painted on it.
Sure enough, the letters spell out my name.
"There are a lot of people with the same name as me, I'm sure its nothing." I say and keep walking.
Octavia grabs my arm and forces me to stop. "We have to look at it, what if it's someone trying to contact you?"
I give into her babbling and walk over to the building with her. My name is printed in large black letters, an arrow pointing to the right to another home. I look to the left of this house, and the one next to it has an arrow pointing towards this one. I walk slowly along the road, seeing arrows everywhere. How did we not see this before?
"They must have written it on every building they passed," Octavia says. "Should we follow it?" She asks.
"Not today. I'm just as curious as you are but it could lead to something dangerous. We should wait until Clarke and Raven are better and we can come back," I say.
Octavia nods and we head to the hotel.
7 weeks later
"I think your leg is okay, Clarke." Abby says with a bit of excitement in her voice.
I'm standing across the room watching the exchange between mother and daughter.
"Go ahead, try to walk." Abby tells her.
Clarke slowly starts to stand up off the chair, wobbling a little bit but I can see the determination in her eyes. Her tongue sticks out a little bit, making me hide a smile. She takes a step forward, almost losing balance but keeps walking. When shr gets the hang of it, she looks up at me with a huge grin on my face and I can't help but smile.
