     Clarke's POV

"She's awake!" she heard Lexa yell and she began to groan. Clarke opened her eyes to find Lexa looking straight back into hers, a look of relief covering her face. "Oh thank god," Lexa said. "Please, Lexa. Don't yell, my head hurts like hell," Clarke groaned in pain. She looked around the room, seeing they were still in the same place they were before. "How long have I been out?" Clarke asked. "About 16 hours, but you're going to be okay. Abby said so," Lexa looked at her. Clarke looked up at her in shock. "What! I couldn't have been out for that long! What happened while I was out?" Clarke asked. "Well, I saw the walker on top of you and killed it, and its forehead slammed into yours and you got knocked out," "Jesus," Clarke said taking in the information. "Thank you," she said looking at Lexa. "For what?" "Saving me, you asshole," Clarke joked but quickly stopped laughing because her head was throbbing. "We also decided that this was the perfect place to stay, so we brought all of our things here, along with everyone else," Lexa told her. "My mother?" she questioned, looking concerned. "She's okay, everyone's okay. Your mom practically threw me across the room trying to get to you," Lexa laughed. Clarke knew what Lexa's laugh sounded like, but she couldn't help but grin whenever she heard it. "What are you smiling for? You like the idea of me getting thrown across the room?" Lexa asked being sarcastic. Clarke just looked at her and smirked, making Lexa shove her playfully.

Ontari's POV

It's been a while since we arrived at the new place, the safest one we have right now. The only one we have right now. The first thing we did was go over schedules, like who's on watch and when. Of course, I'm on watch first thing tonight at around 9:00 pm. I share this shift with Roan, a close friend of mine I grew up with. There was also Echo, someone she wasn't too close with but Roan liked her so I have to deal with her. As soon as all of this started, Roan lead me around to find Echo and then we found this place with a leader named Lexa, and they welcomed us. It was almost time for my shift, so I walked outside through the garage and watched the perimeter of the building. Roan wasn't there yet, so I walked out into the street and killed any walkers I saw. That's when I saw it. There was a walker that didn't look like a walker at all. It was covered head to toe in blood and had multiple sheaths for knives and swords. The thing didn't even look at me, which was the most suspicious. Every single walker I've seen sees you and immediately comes after you. I stomped my foot on the ground, seeing if it would look at me. It didn't. This wasn't a walker, it was a person. And they were watching us. I took a large circle around the person, making sure they couldn't see my feet while looking at the ground while also being as silent as possible. If I catch them, I have to keep it a secret from Lexa. I need to find out myself why they're here. As soon as I was directly behind them, I unsheathed my knife and ran at them slipping my arm around their neck and holding the knife there. "Don't move," I say coldly. I can feel their arm moving slowly towards the sheath, but I kick them in the back of the knee making them fall to the ground and took their wrists in my hands dragging them to their feet. "Come with me, or you'll die," I whisper directly into their ear.

I manage to make it into the garage with the girl's wrists still in my hands and drag her downstairs towards the basement. There's a chair in the corner, and I drag it to the middle of the room and seat her in it, tying her hands behind her back to the chair. I move to her feet, tying the stuff around her ankles and roping it around the legs of the chair. The whole time, she didn't even try to resist. I lit a few candles so I could see what I was doing better and the girl could see me better. "Either you answer my questions, or you suffer," I said looking at her with a cold stare. The girl had dirty blonde hair in a braid going down her back. She wore a flannel underneath the dark clothing she wore to blend in with the walkers. "You're actually pretty smart, thinking of blending in with them. But you're stupid enough to keep sheaths with weapons all over you, dumbass." The girl met Ontari's stare, not saying a word. Her face showed no expression. Nothing. Her eyes were blue, and she was wearing a pair of jeans with boots on her feet. "So, easy question. What the hell is your name?" The girl said nothing, only watched the older girl circle the chair, her hand on a small sheath on her belt. "Well?" she asked the girl, starting to get angry that she was ignoring her. "Alright, I understand," she said and walked right in front of the girl and slapped her across the left side of her face, and then the right. "Anything to say?" the girl still didn't even move her mouth the slightest. The older girl hit her in the face again, this time with her hand in a fist. "The more you ignore me, the more pain you suffer. And I really don't care how old you are, I'll beat the shit out of you. Can't have rats around here checking the place out," the young girl still said absolutely nothing, and this set Ontari off. She unsheathed her knife, quickly sliding it across the girl's forehead. The girl winced in pain but soon went back to her stone cold expression.

Lexa's POV

"Where's Ontari?" I asked Roan. I went outside to make sure everyone on watch was okay, but it was just Roan. "I haven't seen her since we got here," he said shrugging his shoulders. "You check around out here, I'll check inside," Lexa told him in a concerned tone. The man turned and jogged away, looking for Ontari. I walked back into the garage, looking in all the windows of the cars seeing if she was in there. I reached the end of the garage, and I heard Ontari. Yelling. In the basement? I opened the basement door and ran down the stairs. "Ontari are you o-" Lexa stopped, staring at the sight in front of her. Her jaw dropped, and she stood in silence for a second before tackling Ontari.
