Lexa's POV

We finally arrived back in California at our place, and luckily it wasn't burned down or anything. Clarke's people were looking around for a while, getting used to their surroundings. I haven't talked to Lauren or Clarke, and I haven't even seen them they were so busy with everyone else. Lauren seemed to be a natural leader, as she helped everyone out who needed it even if she didn't know them. I was beginning to get lost in my thoughts when Clarke walked in.

"Hey," Clarke smiled at me. I just smile back, not really wanting to talk.

"Why aren't you downstairs helping us with my people?" I just looked up at her, not really knowing what to say.

"I'm not sure," I sighed. "I guess I just don't feel like meeting 12 new people right now."

With those few words, Lauren came through the door. Why did they both get in here at the same time?

"Clarke, I need you to come with me," she said in short breaths. Clarke didn't say anything and was quick to follow her out the door. I didn't follow, feeling as though I'd be intruding.

Clarke's POV

"What's wrong?" I asked the girl as soon as the door to Lexa's room closed behind us. The girl has barely talked to me, what was wrong now?

"My leg," she said quietly pointing a finger at her left leg. There was a bunch of cloth wrapped around her leg, almost covering the whole thing. Red stained the girl's jeans, and she was breathing heavily.

     "How long?" I asked quickly.

"Since Ontari caught me, I tried to patch....patch it up myself," The girl's voice was getting weaker, and she was losing a lot of blood.

"Why are you just telling me now?" I exclaimed with wide eyes at the girl. She went to answer, but she fell to the floor. I swiftly bent down and picked up the girl, running to find my mother. I found her in the medical room, cleaning up a bed.

"Mom, Lauren needs stitches and she's lost a lot of blood," I said quickly. She turned and looked at me with a concerned look.

"Put her on the bed," she said. She was quick to move around the room as I placed the girl carefully on the bed.

"Please don't let her die," I whispered. My mother began to unwrap the leg and put stitches on the girl's leg. Once she was done, she looked at me with worry spread all over her face.

"She needs blood," she stopped for a second. "I can attempt to perform a transfusion, but I need your blood. You're the only one that cares for her and has the same blood type." I look at her for a moment, but then immediately agree because Lexa seems to care for her, and I personally do like her. If she were to die, that would hurt Lexa.

     "Let's do it,"

Lexa's POV

I walk around aimlessly after Clarke and Lauren leave. I have no idea what's going on but decide it's best to let them have their privacy. Walking over to the desk in my room, I pull open the drawer. I don't get to do anything though because someone bursts through the door.

"Lexa!" Raven yells behind me. I turn around seeing a panting Raven and Octavia bursts through the door as well.

"Um, yes?" I ask, completely unaware of what's going on.

"I tried...I tried to stop her..." Octavia says in between breaths.

"You are dating Clarke! I need to talk to you," Raven yells and angrily walks up to me. "Why didn't you tell me?" She looks me in the eyes panting a bit from her run up the stairs. "Why didn't Clarke tell me?" She says in a quieter tone and looks at the ground. She shakes her head and repeats herself. "Why didn't you tell me?"

I stand there and look at her with confusion spread all over my face. Was I supposed to tell her? "I barely know you, I just met you. How do you expect me to just tell you everything private in my life when I just met you?"

Her panting stops, and she just looks at me. "Maybe because I'm her fucking best friend, duh," she snorts. "You better tell me everything," she scolds me.

How do I say that I'm the one that sent the people to catch her and torture her, she'll kill me!

Clarke's POV

My mother had just finished taking my blood, and I tried to stand up. She quickly ran over to me and shoved me back down into the chair.

"Clarke, no. You will be a little out of it for a bit because of the blood you just lost. You need to sit down and stay here," She says while backing up holding out her arms.

I start to giggle uncontrollably. "What do you mean out of it? I'm perfectly fine!" I tell her.

"Clarke, just stay here, okay?" she asks in a nice tone.

"Yes ma'am," I say saluting her.

She turns around and goes into the other room where Lauren is. I sit there looking around at everything in the room, laughing when I see a stuffed monkey sitting on the counter.

"Hey, what are you doing in here? Shouldn't you be swinging from trees?" I ask, giggling.

"No, I am here to see you! Look at how cute I am!" The stuff the monkey is saying only makes me laugh harder.

"Why are you talking to me? Animals cannot talk. That's a fact," I say in a factual tone.

"Well, then why am I talking?" he asks. His voice is so high pitched and I cannot stop laughing at him.

"I'm gonna go see Lexa. She's so nice, I love her very much," I tell the monkey. "She's so sweet and she's pretty strong too. I bet she could beat you in a fight," I try to convince him.

"I don't think so," he says before I wander out of the room towards the stairs.

"Is Lexa's room up or down?" I ask no one but myself.

I shrug my shoulders and begin to walk down the stairs. I open every single door and call Lexa's name hoping she'll come out. None of them are hers, and everyone is telling me to go away. "Fine geez," I shut the door and continue to stumble down the stairs.

I come to another door and open the door. "Hey this room looks familiar," I say to myself and wander inside.

Someone comes out from around the corner and I immediately recognize the green eyes. "Lexa!" I yell and jump into her arms. "I've been looking for you for hours!" I tell her. Her eyebrows furrow together in confusion and I press my lips against hers. She doesn't kiss back, she just pulls away, making me frown.

"Clarke, what's going on with you?" She asks me with worry in her eyes.

"Lexa I'm fine, I just gave some blood for Lauren and talked to a monkey, who by the way wants to fight you," I tell the truth.

        "Wait, you gave blood? Why?"

"I just told you, for Lauren! You dummy," I give her a goofy smile and kiss her again.

She kisses back this time, but it lasts for a lot less longer than I wanted it to. I look at her and give her puppy dog eyes but she doesn't kiss me again.

"Clarke, you have no idea what you're talking about right now, you need to stop," She tells me. She brings her hand up to my face and pulls a piece of hair away from my eyes.

I untangle myself from her and walk past her into the room, where I see Octavia and Raven. "Hey, guys!" I greet them nicely.

"Hey Clarke, we're gonna go. Is that okay?" Raven asks.

I nod my head and give them both a hug. They turn to leave, and Raven gives Lexa a pat on the back. When the door shuts, Lexa is immediately by my side. "Let's get you to bed, okay?" she tells me and I follow her to the bed. She pulls the covers back for me and I silently lay down, looking up into her green eyes.

"Get some sleep, okay?" she asks and I nod my head. I close my eyes and feel her place a small kiss on my forehead. This brings a smile to my face and I start to feel hot, but I fall asleep.
