Lexa's POV

The memories of Lauren instantly come back to me when I first see the girl. She has dark hair, blue eyes, and is staring right back at me.

She turns to run away, but on instinct my legs start to move themselves after her. She got a headstart, running full speed down the road. I chase after her, going as fast as my legs will allow. The burning sensation throughout my legs is nothing I can explain but I fight the pain, reaching the girl and tackling her to the ground.

The girl fights back, but I turn her over to face me and sit on her waist.

"What a way to meet," I say breathing heavily. "I'm sorry it went down like that, I don't want to hurt you but I don't want you to hurt yourself going out there alone."

Before I can speak again I hear a girl's voice from behind me.

"Get the hell off of her or I'll shoot," she says firmly.

I slowly put my hands up, mentally cursing myself for running after the girl.

"Listen I wasn't trying to hurt her," I try to reason.

"Shut up!" She yells at me. "Put your weapons on the ground and turn around slowly." She commands.

I reluctantly comply, placing my knives on the ground and turning around, my hands in the air again. Not trying to die today.

I'm looking the girl up and down, taking her in. She's wearing a grey shirt that reveals her collarbones and a tanktop underneath. Her hair is curly, tied back into two separate pigtails. She wears a hat that looks worn, I can only imagine why. She still stands pointing the gun at me in silence.

I look back at her face and see two familiar figures walking up behind her, Raven and Octavia. Octavia turns to the side, coming on the right side of the girl. Suddenly I hear a yell come from a street away, causing both Raven and the girl to turn around. The girl shoots Raven in the back, sending her down with a scream of agony.

Octavia instantly reacts, running towards the girl holding the gun and tackling her. I tackle the girl from before, struggling to hold her down.

"Bellamy help!" Octavia screams as loud as she can.

Seconds later I see Bellamy sprinting down the street with Lincoln following shortly behind, Clarke in his arms. Bellamy increases his speed (if that's even possible) when he sees whats going on.

"What the hell happened?" He asks picking up the gun the girl dropped.

As I watch Octavia explain everything and Murphy calling out for Abby, the girl under me starts to struggle. I try to hold her down, but she is surprisingly really strong. All of a sudden I feel a burst of pain in my side and instantly put my hands on it, trying to make it stop hurting letting out a groan of pain.

The girl throws me off of her, myself still trying to figure out what's happening. I look at my side, seeing a knife lodged into it. I try to stand up, hearing yelling and all of a sudden nothing as there are two people over me touching the wound and before I know it everything goes black.

Clarke's POV

When I saw Lexa get stabbed I went into complete panic mode. That on top of Raven getting shot, I was having a panic attack. I was helpless, laying on the ground as everyone helped either Raven or Lexa, Bellamy and Lincoln holding down the girls that caused all of this.

Anya and Luna are over Lexa, looking at the wound in her side. Octavia stands up from her position next to Raven, walking over to where the girls are held. She hits one of them in the side of the neck, instantly getting knocked out. The other girl watches in horror, knowing what's coming to her.

Octavia does the same thing to the other girl, and the guys lay them on the ground.

"We found a place, a hotel," Octavia says.

"Well lead us there because walkers are gonna show up any second with all this noise," Bellamy says. "Someone carry the girls, I'll carry Raven and Lincoln you carry Lexa." He finishes.

"I got Clarke," Murphy says with a sigh.

"I'll get one of the girls," Finn says.

        "Me too," Octavia agrees.

"Let's go," Octavia says as she picks up the girl bridal style.

Octavia is going as fast as she can leading us to the hotel they found. There are a few walkers on the way, but we manage to run right past them.

As soon as we enter the hotel Lexa and Raven are laid on the ground, the other two girls being tied up across the room from each other. Finn and Murphy go outside, fighting off any walkers that came near the entrance. Both wounds could be fatal, but Lexa's was easier to work with.

"Bellamy put Clarke next to Lexa," Abby orders.

He quickly picks me up and moves me next to Lexa, and I watch as her chest moves up and down slower than normal.

"Octavia, take her shirt off and Lincoln get me a bandage, a rag, something!" She orders the two.

Octavia pulls off Lexa's shirt revealing her tone body and bra beneath. I can't help it when my cheeks get hot even in this situation.

"Does anyone have a knife, something metal? We also need it to be very hot so if someone can do that it would be great," abby says quickly.

Abby inspects where the knife was plunged into Lexa's side, prodding around the entrance wound. I'm not sure how, but Lincoln brings her a red knife, the color from the heat.

"Clarke cover her mouth and don't stop until I say so,"

I follow her directions and place my hand over her mouth, hoping she won't be able to feel the pain but I know she will.

My mom slowly takes the knife out of Lexa, Bellamy there to hold her down as she jolts awake, letting out a muffled scream of agony. I see tears run down her cheeks, and I want nothing more than to comfort her through this. But I can't.

Every time I hear her screams of pain I feel the tears building in my eyes. They start pouring down my face right as my mother takes the knife from Lincoln.

She places the knife on Lexa's wound, and Lexa gasps for air before I watch as her eyes shut.

Abby wipes the liquid around the round, putting a rag over it and telling me to keep pressure on it.

"I need everyone to help with Raven, this is going to hurt a lot. Clarke you're fine where you are, and Finn and Murphy are fine as well."

No matter how much it hurts my leg, I position myself with my head on her shoulder, my arm wrapped around her waist. I can hear Raven's muffled screams of pain, not wanting to imagine what she feels right now.

5 or 6 hours later, the people on guard have changed and they've finished operating on Raven, if its even close to operating.

I close my eyes, listening to Lexa's heartbeat as I try to sleep. Right as I start to drift off, I feel soft fingertips running up and down my arm.
