Clarke's POV

I got out of the truck after I finished my drawing, sneaking one last look at Lexa. I walked over to the sidewalk, looking at everyone who was now out of their vehicles talking in the surroundings and killing walkers that came near. "Everyone, can I have your attention for a second," I asked in a powerful tone. "The hoard of walkers most likely will not come this way. We took a lot of twists and turns, just to make sure those walkers never find us again. But we do have one problem. Lexa made a promise to me that we would get my people back, so we will have to go back there at some point to fight the factory people and claim our people back. But that is in the future. In the present, we will be splitting up into 4 teams of 3 later when Lexa decides to wake up and spreading around to find gas, and maybe even a place to stay for a while, we'll need it. Get as much as possible, we will need it. Weapons are also greatly appreciated, so look for those too. Finally, one team will be staying here and keeping watch on everything. Use your walkies if you're in danger, and we want a report every ten minutes," I finally finished. Wondering what to do next, I lazily walked over to Bryce. "Hey, kid. How are you holding up?" I asked in a gentle tone. "I'm fine, could be better." "How old are you?" Clarke questioned thoughtfully. "15, going to turn 16 in December but I don't even know when that is," he said with a laugh. "Alright, well I'll talk to you later, okay?" He nodded to Clarke and she walked back to the truck where Lexa was sleeping.

She was awake, looking out the window at the roads. We were in a quiet city which was mostly abandoned, as we know of at least. "Hey, you're up," Clarke said with a grin. "Enjoy your six hours of sleep?" she asked, looking at the brunette. She nodded looking at Clarke with sleepy eyes, "It was good," she said. "I'm glad. Now, get up we have to go find stuff if we want to be able to live long enough to sleep again," Clarke said with a light laugh. Lexa smiled at her and opened the car door to hop out. I walked around the side of the truck to meet up with Lexa, telling her what I told the others. "That's all I told them, you get to choose who goes with who," Clarke said. Lexa continued to walk past Clarke and called everyone into a circle to listen to what she had to say. "Alright, everyone. As you know, we will be splitting up and looking for supplies and we need reports every ten minutes and such, so let's get to the groups. Group number one is Lincoln, Indra, and Octavia. Group number two is Echo, Roan, and Ontari. Group number three, which will be staying here and keeping watch is Bryce, Abby, and Emori. Finally, group number four is me, Clarke, and Luna. Please split into your groups and take walkies, remember to check in. May we meet again," Lexa said nodding to the group. "May we meet again," Everyone replied.

Luna came over to Clarke and Lexa saying, "Alright, I'm the third wheel so where we going?" she asked. "We're not dating," Clarke said coldly. Lexa was sad but kept her mask on to not show emotion. But Clarke could see right through her. "We'll just walk down the road a little ways and try to find somewhere to set up camp along with food and water," Lexa answered Luna's question. Clarke grabbed a gun and some ammunition, while Luna and Lexa wield swords. Clarke lead the group of three down at least three blocks, looking all around at their surroundings. In 3 blocks they'd killed at least 16 walkers so they'd have to do a better job of clearing them out. Clarke was in the middle of killing a small group of walkers and when she was done she noticed something. On the other side of the street, there was a walker who could clearly see them but wasn't coming after them. The strange walker also had a sheath accompanied by a sword on its body, along with a belt lined with other sheaths for smaller knives, possibly daggers. It was covered in blood from head to toe and didn't so much as glance at the three. Since it wasn't going to harm them, she ignored it and turned to continue walking.

The group went into a few stores, finding food, clothing, gasoline, and even some weapons but no shelter yet. However there was a relatively large building up ahead that looked to be safe, but they had to check it out first. "Come on!" Clarke told them and raced ahead plunging her knife into the heads of any walkers that crossed her path. Clarke reached the building first with Luna and Lexa following close behind. "What do you think? It has a garage, which is good. But we still need to check the rest of the building," she said. "If we can clear it out or find it's already clear I think it's a great spot, and it's big," Lexa said. "That's what she said," Luna laughed. "Luna shut up," Lexa rolled her eyes at her as a slight blush came to her face. They'd checked in twice already, but Clarke decided they'd check in again before heading in. She picked up the walkie from her belt and spoke, "This is Clarke, Luna, and Lexa. We found something we might be able to use as shelter and we are going in to clear it out, over." A short static noise came over until Abby spoke. "Alright, be safe you guys. We can't lose you," and the static was back. "Don't worry mom, we'll be fine," Clarke released the button and then clipped the walkie back to her belt. "Let's go," she said in a determined voice.

Checking the building wasn't hard, there were maybe 30 walkers but they were all killed by the tips of their knives and swords. The walkers weren't altogether, they were spread out throughout the building which helped. A lot. They finally reached the final room, the room with the stairs that lead to the roof. "Alright, on my count," Clarke said. "3, 2, 1, go!" Clarke said and kicked the door open revealing a room full of walkers. "Shit," Clarke breathed. As soon as the walkers saw the light from the door, they started to flood towards it like an overflowing dam. Every single walker Clarke killed had cold eyes with no more feeling, and she'd gotten used to that sight. Clarke killed the walker trying to attack her and quickly looked at Luna and Lexa to make sure they were okay, and everyone was fine. While she was watching them, Clarke hadn't noticed the large and muscular walker coming straight towards her, and it shoved her to the ground toppling right over her. Clarke's head slammed into the ground, probably leaving her with a concussion. The walker put it's full weight on the girl's small body and used its arms to try and bring its face closer to hers to bite her. Clarke was struggling and in a daze, using all of the strength she had to wrestle the walker above her. She was starting to become weak, hurting from using all of her strength. It was right then she decided to just give up, and she closed her eyes feeling something come crashing straight down on her forehead, causing her to pass out.
