Lexa's POV

We were about 15 minutes away from the factory, and Lauren was awake. "We should stop here and walk the rest of the way," she said. "We can avoid the cameras from here on," I stopped the car and everyone got out. "Lauren, you lead the way," I said. It took us about another hour to get there with how we had to avoid the cameras. But now we were close enough to be able to run up to the building. "Alright, this is where we say goodbye. For now," Lauren said. I let her say goodbye to everyone else first so I could see her last. She came over to me and I pulled her in tight for a hug. "I love you, Lexa," Lauren said. I was shocked at her words at first but got used to them. "I love you too," I said. She got loose of my grip and looked me straight into the eyes. "May we meet again," She gave me a small smile before turning and running. A single tear ran down my cheek as I watched her run.

Lauren's POV

We made perfect timing, and it was the time of night where the guards were lazy and took about 10 minutes in between switching shifts which meant there was no one on watch right now. I stuck close to the walls of the building, looking ahead and behind me. I reached the back, finding the secret entrance. I slowly started taking the bricks away and revealing the entrance. It was a small tunnel, and I had to crawl through it to get in. I went in head first and dragged the rest of my body in behind me, crawling as fast as I could. The tunnel led to a small supply closet where the other end of the tunnel was hidden by supplies. I reached the other end and slowly climbed out on to the concrete ground below. I stood up, making sure no one else was in the room. I took out one of my knives just in case and made my way to the door. I put my ear up against it and listened for any sign of movement. Nothing. I opened the door a little bit and peeked out into the hallway. There was no one there, so I ran on my tip toes all the way down the dark hallway. No one was really awake at night, and there was a curfew. The only ones out were the guards patrolling outside. I made my way down a long staircase to the basement where they kept the prisoners. I stopped in front of the hallway, knowing there would be a guard down there. I tightened the grip on my knife and silently shook loose my muscles. I took a quiet deep breath and hurled my knife down the hallway at the guard.

It had hit him, and I quickly ran down the hallway to take it out of his chest and plunge it into his forehead. "May we meet again," I whispered. After all that could've been an innocent guard who didn't know what was going on in the room behind him. I unsheathed a second knife and opened the door slowly, and I could see a guard talking smack to a man in a cage. I opened the door all the way and hurled the knife at him, going right into his temple. I ran up to the man in the cage, not knowing who he was. "Do you know Clarke Griffin?" I asked. The man nodded and I took the keys from the guard to unlock his cage. "You can trust me, I'm breaking your people out," I said. "Unlock and let out everyone," I told him and went to search the rest of the area. There was no one else in here, and I began to walk back to the prisoners. One of them, a young man was holding a piece of glass up to a girl's neck. Then I knew who the girl was. "Maya?" I asked. "Let her go!" I told the man. He surprisingly listened and Maya ran over to me and hugged me. "Come on, you're getting out of here too," I said.

I led the group down the hallway, on the lookout for any guards. I would have to lead them out the front door, and there would surely be guards at the front door. I stopped the group, giving a few of them knives. I hated giving my knives away, but this time I had to if we want to survive. We came to the hallway that leads to the front room, and I told everyone to stay back while I went ahead. I slowly walked up to the edge of the hallway, peering around the corner to the front door. There were at least 10 guards, and I didn't recognize any of them. I ran back to the others, telling them about the guards. I had no idea what to do, there were 10 of them with loaded guns. Then I remembered, the closet across the hall held all kinds of things, maybe something that could help us. I crept over to the door, opening it slowly. I slipped inside, leading the others in too. I took the flashlight out of my belt and turned it on. "Holy shit," I whispered. This was now their armory, and there were guns, bullets, and other things everywhere. "Grab a gun, you might need it," I said. Everyone loaded up with guns and I kept looking around. I was towards the back of the room when I found it. Smoke bombs. "Alright so I'm going to throw three smoke bombs and we all run for the door, okay?" I asked. Everyone nodded. I opened the door again taking the smoke bombs in my hands. I looked down the hallway, trying to gain enough confidence to do this.

And the confidence came to me. I took one smoke bomb at a time and hurled it as hard as I could into the room. White smoke instantly filled the room and I let everyone else go in front of me as I ran. The people would get out first, me last. The guards were too confused and began to run out the door as well, but I didn't hear any shooting. I watched as everyone else ran out, and I began to run to the door myself. I was almost there when I felt a pair of strong arms grab me. "Nice to see you again," I heard someone whisper in my ear.
