Part 7

jack wasn't beside me, i woke up feeling cold. 

i went downstairs but nobody else was there, i saw a note on the counter from mom- 

'addi, 

gone to store, should be back in an hour, wake up your brothers in the most mean way possible

love you! mom'

i placed the note back down and got out things for fruit salad. i put it all together and decided to wake up everyone. 

upstairs i saw jack's door open, i looked in through the doorway but nobody was in there, the bed was made but jack was nowhere. 

i quickly walked over to jake and logan's rooms. for jake; water, for logan; flour. they both didn't appreciate the wake up call. 

i ran downstairs in fear that logan or jake would come for me. i called jack once i reached the bottom. 

j- hey addi!

a- where did you run away to?

j- sorry, people started calling me and i didn't want to wake anyone

a- oh you're fine, when will you be back? i miss you...

j- i miss you too gorgeous, i'll be back in 10

a- okay see you soon

j- love you adds

a- love you too

i turned back to serve up the salad when i saw logan and jake standing in the doorway smiling. 

a- friends. 

they nodded before running at me, i bolted out the back door. i could hear their footsteps gaining on me, i laid on the floor, surrendering. they didn't stop running. 

they jumped on me, tickling me. 

a- no i surrender

they got off but ran towards the door. i quickly realised what they were doing and ran after them, unfortunately they were faster. 

they got inside and locked the door behind them, i tried to get in but there was no use. they came to the window and were eating the salad, laughing at me. 

i had a thought and ran around the house to the front door. they must've known because when i got up to the front door, it was locked too. 

i sat on the front steps and soon enough jack walked around. 

j- hey what are you doing out here?

a- brothers

he nodded and helped me up. 

jack knocked and i hid behind the wall, then i heard the door open, i bolted inside. 

i heard logan and jake groan as i reached the kitchen. they had finished all the food. i sighed and turned to them. 

a- really?

l- oh we're sorry that our sister makes good ass food

a- well thankyou, but that was for everyone

j- it's fine, we'll go out for breakfast

a- you're still hungry??

l- of course

a- okay, you call mom, i'm going to get changed

they nodded and jack and i went upstairs into my room. 

he sat down on my bed and i quickly ducked into my wardrobe and got changed. 

j- woah my best friend is gorgeous
