we woke up to jake jumping onto the bed. he was laughing until he saw jack. he got up and pulled jack up.
j- you ain't hurting my little sister
a- jake, we fell asleep
j- fine, anyway we gotta go in 10
i sighed and got up, jack fell back onto the bed.
i went to my suitcase and quickly pulled out some maverick leggings, my vans and the 'avery' shirt from their merch.
i grabbed one of jake's hoodies and ran downstairs to the scent of waffles.
we took the bags to the car and took waffles to go.
we arrived at the airport and went through. we all got stopped by fans for pictures and signatures. some loved me as the new addition to the paul family, but some didn't.
skip plane ride
we dropped down in ohio, mom picked us up from the airport, smothering us all with kisses.
we drove to what i guessed was her house, we unloaded the car and she showed us around. jake and logan went into their old rooms and i looked around awkardly.
m- addison, honey, come on
she smiled at me and led me upstairs. i felt jack latch onto my hand. she showed jack the guest room and then held my hand as she walked up another set of stairs into the attic.
it was gorgeous, fairy lights strung, this room made me feel at home.

m- this was supposed to be your room, we thought you'd never be able to have sleepovers in here, or talk for ages on the phone sitting in that seat, but now you're here, home
she hugged me and we cried silently.

she left and i checked out the room, the little details, all the photos and canvases hung. of course there's pictures of logan and jake.
speaking of logan and jake, they appeared in the doorway and jumped on me.
a- ow
they didn't move.
a- can't breath
they still didn't move.
a- dying
nothing.
a- so there's this guy...
they both jolted up, staring at me with bold eyes.
a- joking
they breathed in relief and fell back.
i heard jack talking downstairs and ran down, leaving logan and jake in my room, bad idea.
