Part 57

he handed me one of the packages from the box that i hadn't opened yet. it was the one that told me to open when he got home. i realised i had forgotten about it. 

j- before you open it, i want to say something to you....

j- addi, the moment i saw you for the very first time will be stuck into my memory till the end of my life because it was the evening when my life changed it's direction. i remember you dancing at logan's party, and your smiling eyes grabbed my attention for the whole evening. 

i keep in my heart every minute we shared because from the first moment i knew i loved you. i was so proud when you met my family, as i knew they would love you. however, when i saw you playing with isla, i knew for sure that you are the one i want to share every day of my entire life with.

i do not know how it had been possible to live without your support and cheerfulness, without listening to you singing and watching you dancing when you think nobody sees. i love being with you because you understand me as nobody would ever understand. 

you encourage me to get up every morning, to be me, and to constantly become a better person. you are my inspiration, my motivation, and the light in my life. you have your own definition of happiness and where it is hidden. 

you are the perfect person to be my best friend, the mother of my future children and my wife. 

i promise to do everything i can to be there for you and to become a husband you deserve. i want to become your happily-ever-after, and i will do my best for your incredible smile to never fade. you are the greatest and the most precious gift life has given me, and i wish the whole world knew about my infinite and limitless love for you.

i am looking forward to the day when my last name will become ours, and our love will give a birth to a new family. you are the one i want to be for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer. my voice is trembling, and my heart beats at a furious pace since i hope you will say me yes and make me the luckiest man on earth.

addi, will you marry me?

my heart fluttered at his words and i knew my eyes were completely tear stained. he had a smile of hope on his face and looked at me. 

a- yes, yes, yes jack i will marry you

he rushed over to me and hugged me, spinning me around and putting me down before kissing me gently. our lips moved in sync and it felt like an unforgettable moment. he pulled back and motioned for me to finally open the package. 

'when i'm home' 

i carefully took off the ribbon and removed the paper, revealing a black velvet box. i smiled down at it as jack took the box out of my hands and revealed a gorgeous ring. tears left my eyes again as he slipped the ring onto my finger and hugged me once more. 

we laid on the sand, watching the stars while i was cuddled up to jack. i had my left hand laying on his chest and he was playing with my ring. he kissed my forehead and helped me up, we walked back to the car and started driving again, this time to the airport. 

i checked the time in ohio to see it was nine am. 

a- can i call my mom?

j- she already knows

a- you didn't?

j- majority knows, i went to ohio when you were in washington to ask your mum, dad and bella

i laughed when he mentioned bella, i miss her very much.
