Part 5

i wake up in my own bed, back at the magcon house. i don't know how i got here but one thing i do know, is that i can hear jack, logan and jake's voices downstairs. 

i went down, i was half asleep. 

l- hey addi

a- hey guys, where is everyone?

j- i think they said magcon meeting. 

a- without me? 

jake- they didn't want to wake you

a- they should've, i could get in huge trouble

l- it's fine, your manager is the one who told them to leave you

i sighed in relief and went over to the kitchen, making breakfast. 

i sat down in the living room, watching the wall. i felt jake sit next to me. 

j- how are you doing?

a- better than ever

j- if you ever need anything, i'm only a call away 

l- we all are

they all came and sat down. 

l- hey addi, do you want to come to ohio with us?

jake- there's a lot of family who would like to see you

a- can i bring jack?

l- of course, noodles, wanna come?

jack- sure thing

j- who's up for a drive to the team 10 house?

everyone nodded so we decided to head over.  

we were greeted by chance, anthony, nick and ray.  they all hugged me, anthony and chance holding on for longer. they remember my mom being pregnant with me, they grew up with my brothers. 

we went inside and jake said i couldn't go upstairs. i shrugged it off and jack and i went outside. i was sitting on the balcony watching the view when jake and logan came riding around on motorbikes. 

i laughed and went down the steps to the grass. 

a- you guys are insane

l- hop on sis

i got on the bike behind logan and he revved the engine. he drove off, jake trailing behind. my adrenaline was pumping, i always wondered why i was such an adrenaline junkie when my parents weren't. 

we drove all around jake's property, passing chance and anthony filming. 

after reaching back to the others, we all go inside to look at flights for ohio. they were looking online when erika came through the door, i've only met her once, but now it's a whole different story; she is my brother's girlfriend. a wave of protectiveness washed over me. 

e- oh hey addison, i didn't know you would be here. 

a- hey erika

i shoot a look at jake, he shakes his head. she doesn't know. why would he not tell her?

e- wait so, why are you here? are you doing a video?

a- no, um

jake- erika, i have to talk to you

she shot me a scared look, i smiled at her. i know that face, she thinks he's breaking up with her.

they go into the other room and logan hugs me. jake and erika come back into the room, hand in hand.
