Part 50

a- oh hello....

jack got up and took the bags out of my hands. gabbie got up and looked through the bags, she noticed that none of the food had her name on it and sat down. everyone left the room, it was just us. 

a- sorry, if i knew we had company i would've got more food. 

g- whatever, jack you were about to tell me something?

j- yeah, i was about to ask why you were here?

g- well i couldn't not see one of your shows... i decided to surprise you, and maybe pick up where we left off?

she got closer to him, almost ignoring the fact that i was in the room. jack held her arms away from him and looked at her. 

j- no gabbie, i am in a relationship, my girlfriend is standing right over there, did you really think i would do that?

g- i don't know jacky, let's find out. 

she went to move closer and i got fed up. i walked over to her and pulled her hand away from jack, throwing it down to her side. 

a- i think you should leave

g- jack are you going to let her just throw me out like that?

j- i don't control her, i trust her, i agree gabbie i think you've done enough

g- whatever

she walked out and sydnie walked in rolling her eyes. soon everyone came back in and ate the food together, completely disregarding what just happened. we were waiting for the bus to arrive as we were driving back tonight. we had all packed and got ready to go. unfortunately everyone had to go home as majority had school but break is coming up and we promised to see each other. 

the uber has arrived to take everyone to the airport, the goodbyes were sad but we knew we'd see each other shortly. soon after, the bus rolled up and everyone got on. the bus ride was going to be a very long one, forty one hours. the thought of the trip makes me tired, and it doesn't help when it's two am. 

jack and i sat on the couch, he has his legs spread out and i was laying beside him. corbyn, zach and daniel went straight to bed but jonah didn't want to sleep. he sat on the couch opposite us and put his headphones in. 

jack watched the tv while rubbing my back. the warmth of him made me feel safe, i fell asleep quickly and easily. 

i felt someone pick me up, i opened my eyes slightly and noticed it was jack. 

j- shh go back to sleep. 

i closed my eyes again and could feel myself being placed in a bunk and feeling coldness and loneliness before jack re positioned himself next to me. 

-two days later- 

i woke up and found jack next to me, i slowly crawled over him and got up and went to the bathroom, doing my makeup and hair. we only had twenty minutes until we were home. the only other person awake was jonah, and of course, he was watching tv and drinking coffee. i smiled at him before sitting next to him and putting in my headphones. 

while listening to daniel caesar, i noticed more and more people wake up, including jack. i was staring at nothing, thinking about my-our future when he waved his hands in front of me. i snapped out of my thoughts and looked at him, he kissed me and i kissed back but we were taken back when the bus had a sudden stop. 

we looked outside and recognised the area, it was home. the boys and i ran off the bus and into the house, falling on the couch and carpet, thankful to be home. i went back out and started helping with the bags and once everything was inside, we thanked the bus driver and went back in.
