Part 19

before our flight, jack wanted to take me somewhere, just us. i wore a loose fit dress and sandals and met jack downstairs. he was being questioned by the boys when i saw him. then all of their attention came to me.

madds popped up out of the group-

m- damn girl you fine

i blushed and she came over to walk with me. when i met jack she looked at him, then back at me. 

m- i gave him a good warning, but what he has planned tonight oh my. 

she fake fainted into hayes' arms. i laughed and saw jack hold his hand out for me.  

j- shall we?

i nodded and we started walking down into the car. after 20 minutes of driving we came to a little hut on the ocean. 

a- woah

he drove closer and we got out of the car. inside the hut was a swing chair and a cute little mesh area, covered in blankets and cushions, overlooking the beach. it was surrounded by palm leaves and you could smell the salt in the air. 

we sat down and jack brought out some food and a speaker. he put music on and we unloaded the food. of course all our favorites, sour patch, gushers and hersheys. i laid back on jack's chest and we watched the sea sway back and forth. 

j- adds?

a- yeah?

j- you know i love you right?

a- of course, and i love you more

j- not possible but i just wanted to spend some time with you here, just us

i got up and turned so we were facing each other. i lent in and quickly kissed him. he got up and readjusted his position. 

j- i wanted to give you this, as a birthday present-

a- jack we said no pres-

j- i know but i wanted to give you this anyway, i know you lose rings a lot so i decided to get you something that you can always have with you, close to your heart. 

he reached into the bag and brought out a big jewelry box. 

a- jack....

he opened it to reveal a gorgeous necklace with jack's name engraved. i felt a tear roll down my face. 

a- jack it's gorgeous

he shuffled around to my back, i picked up my hair and he placed it on my neck,

j- this is my promise to you, i want you to know that you will always have me close to your heart no matter where we are in the world. i promise to be here for you any moment. 

i turned around and picked up the necklace and admired it. i looked at him and he was smiling shyly. 

our lips connected, fireworks every time. our spark will never die, i know that i will love jack forever, nothing will change that. 

we stayed at our spot until the sun started to disappear, we realised we had a flight in a few hours so we packed up and head back to the house. 

when we pulled up everyone else was outside with bags. lucky we packed earlier. madds was holding my bag. i quickly leaped out and grabbed it off her and thanked her. 

m- of course by th-

she pulled me to the side quickly, away from the boy's earshot. she held the pendant in her hand and admired it as i did. 

m- when he said tonight would be special i didn't realise he meant this?

i blushed and she smiled at me.
