Part 32

we finally landed and i see jack's family at the doorway. i am anxious to release best part because it's very different, but hopefully everyone loves it like i do.

as a surprise, jonah did the backing vocals for me and played the acoustics. jack has noticed that i'm hiding something, and i can tell it's worrying him.

after saying our hellos to the family, jack and i take our stuff upstairs. i quickly set up my computer and email the final copy to my manager. jack was watching me with confusion as i sighed in relief.

j- what's.... best part?

he read the title over my shoulder and i quickly shut my laptop lid.

i kissed his cheek and skipped downstairs.

sydnie gave me an anticipated look and i nodded. she ran and hugged me, of course she knew, she helped me write it when i had 3am writing sessions.

everyone was confused at this point, it made me second guess everything. sydnie came over and rubbed my arm in comfort, i smiled at her. even ava came over to me and held me tight.

s- sorry, i had to tell someone

i just laughed and hugged ava back. in the same second, my manager started calling me. sydnie got excited and rushed ava and i outside. i answered, speaker on.

m- addison?

a- hey

m- the song will be released in two minutes, we want you to start a live broadcast on instagram now though to promote it

a- sure thing, thankyou so much for the last minute publish

m- of course, they song is beautiful

a- thankyou!

we hung up and i set up my phone according to sydnie's ideas. it looked good, we had sydnie to my left, and ava on my right. seconds in and thousands of people were joined. we have forty more seconds until the song is released.

right before i was about to announce it, i saw jack and kristen both joined. i took a breath of courage and spoke.

a- hey guys, long time no see, while i've been gone, i've had a lot of time to think and rediscover myself. one thing i rediscovered was love-

i noticed that ava was filming jack's reaction secretly to my live.

sydnie quickly added that bit in before i ended the live. i saw ava and she was still filming as he listened to the song-

sydnie hugged me again before we went back inside. i heard crying and saw kristen listening over jack's shoulder. sydnie chuckled and she noticed me, i held my finger to my mouth signaling not to let jack know i was here. she nodded but got up and hugged me.
