Part 69

jack held my hand as we said hello to everyone who was here. the night didn't end until we noticed norah yawning. corbyn offered to take her upstairs but i didn't mind, i told jack i would be back down soon. 

i picked norah up and she laid her head on my shoulder, playing with my hair while we walked up the staircase. she was pointing where to go as i still didn't know my way around. when we made it into her room, she smiled showing me all her familiar toys and furniture. 

she still had the same bed but new toys, i tucked her into bed and she smiled up at me. 

a- sorry baby, no music tonight, but i'll get it sorted soon

n- it's okay, daddy gave me his old speaker

she pointed to a long speaker, taking up one whole shelf on the bookshelf. i got up and went over to it, connecting my phone to it's bluetooth. once it had finished, i put on my playlist that had all of the boy's music and set down my phone. 

she was giggling from her bed as i sat beside her confused. she hid under the blankets and i tickled her to get her to come back up. when she did, she was flushed from laughing. 

a- what are you laughing at?

n- d-daddy

i turned around and saw jack at the door, smiling and waving. he dived in onto light's bed on top of her and she laughed. he laid beside her against the wall and smiled at me. he started stroking her hair and she started yawning again, he kissed her cheek and hummed to the tune of the song. 

her eyes shut and jack carefully got out of her bed, standing and holding his hand out for me. i placed my hand in his and stood up, he led me out of the room and into the other living room. i sat down on the couch and jack sat next to me, pulling me closer.
