Part 39

i wake up to christina talking to corbyn on the phone. 

c- i know baby, i miss you too but i'm so sorry

i heard muffles and she noticed me awake and sent me a thumbs up. i scrolled through my social media to see jack updated his twitter. 

i jumped out of bed and out into jack's room, sending christina a smile before leaving. i sat on the bed and shook as i pressed to call jack. he answered on the first ring. 

j- hey babe

he sounded sad, disappointed. 

a- i wanted to tell you, i slept in i'm sorry

j- i understand, i just miss you, so much...

a- and i miss you more

j- but i meant it, if you need me, i can take time off, we have a break coming up..

a- we'll find time, i promise

j- i love you adds

a- i love you too, i'm so sorry

j- it's fine, i'll speak to you later, we have to do soundcheck

a- okay i lo-

i was cut off by the dial tone, okay he's really upset, and i feel horrible. i stare at the screen that showed my recent calls, jack, jack, christina, tate, corbyn, jack, jonah, jack.... christina pops her head in the doorway with the same facial expression as me. 

c- i feel horrible

a- so do i

c- i'm guessing that was jack?

a- yeah...

c- i didn't mean to tell him, i was going to let you, but corbyn had me on speaker without me knowing and everyone heard

a- it's fine, at least we're actually seeing them and not, not. 

she nodded and we tried to smile, but couldn't. i guess knowing our boyfriends were sad made us sad. 

c- cmon, tate should be here any minute

i remembered tate was coming and that meant i'm seeing jack tomorrow. before christina left i grabbed her shoulder. 

a- wait what did you tell the guys?

c- oh i said that we were both really sick and the doctors put us on house arrest

she laughed at the last bit, as did i. 

c- they all said they would come over tomorrow during the day but i convinced them not to

i nodded and she smiled once more before leaving to get changed.
